No, he isn't even popular in his own county anymore and he is a joke in Pima and Pinal.

Martha McSally will crush him.

Stunning, then, that his lawyer would have the gall to spew the above nonsense.

On the flip side and not a big public story... two years ago a googler left the company and explained why: his senior vice president thought any exposure of racists was unacceptable but being racist was acceptable. It's a quick read here:

Per CNN - since Trump was elected, the grand total of 500 coal mining jobs were "saved" in the US

Until today - a WV mine is closing with 370 jobs going away. So now a total of 130 jobs in the US.

It was always a scam anyway - but it'll be interesting to see how they spin it.

Not only that but there's no guarantee those actual coal mining jobs are miners. Could easily be people involved in R&D, IT or management.

Trump loves coal executives not coal miners.

Trump admin tried to boost coal with a regulation favoring power stations that kept a certain amount of reserve fuel on site to prevent power outages due to running out of fuel, but that accounted for something like 0.0001% of outages and some board had enough power to reject the regulation.

Prediction: no one cares and will continue to support Trump or the next huckster who makes the same stupid promises.

Missouri politics was rocked late Wednesday night when Gov. Eric Greitens (R) admitted to an extramarital affair amidst allegations that he blackmailed a woman with a naked photo he took during one of their sexual encounters. The news broke just hours after the Governor delivered his second annual State of the State address. Greitens admitted to the affair in response to a report by KMOV News 4 in St. Louis. He also released a joint statement with his wife Sheena in which the two say they have moved on from the affair. The affair reportedly occurred in 2015, more than a year before he was elected Governor in November 2016.

Gov. Greitens doesn't seem to quite get how blackmail works.

You said/implied it was the video where he called it fake news which has been posted before. I didn't watch it because of that, I didn't realize it was a video of him just standing there doing nothing.

According to this NYT article they're also increasing starting wage from $9/hr to $11/hr. This part is money though:

Quote:
Walmart said Thursday it was still determining how much it would save as a result of the corporate tax cuts, although the savings are likely to be in the billions of dollars.

...
Raising the starting wage would cost about $300 million and the bonuses will total about $400 million, Walmart said.
Billions in savings, but at least a small chunk will trickle down to employees

What exactly does failing to deliver on promises of coal jobs have to do with conservatism?

Wait, are we supposed to believe that Walmart has 400,000 employees with 20+ years on the job? How much of that bonus pool is actually for executives?
