Another typical response an ad hominem and bigotry toward the elderly all in one post.

Anyways, of course I don't think we should discourage normalizing privacy because it's a young idea.

I think we should question privacy norms because they (1) support the concentration of power in the hands of the elite; and (2) prevent the cooperative creation of datasets that could lend crucial insights into various important problems.

How is it a fact?

Sylvester Stallone suggested on Sunday that he was not interested in taking a top arts leadership role in the Trump administration, including as chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts. ... Mr. Stallone’s statement did not close the door to his playing a role in the new administration. He said he thought he would be more effective in helping military veterans “find gainful employment, suitable housing and financial assistance these heroes respectfully deserve.”

Trump really is going out of his way to tick every box on the fascist checklist.

Like I said, those tacky membership cards he's selling might just be the ticket into the Tonton Macoute!

Sobering to think that we are only 1.5 months into the Trump Era and we have stories dropping about Trumps extralegal goon squad and the neo-XYZ affair dropping. There's so much time for things to get worse!

“We’ve never seen this kind of wealth in the White House, and so traditional rules don’t work,” Gingrich said Monday during an appearance on NPR’s "The Diane Rehm Show" about the president-elect’s business interests. “We’re going to have to think up a whole new approach.”
Quote:
“In the case of the president, he has a broad ability to organize the White House the way he wants to. He also has, frankly, the power of the pardon,” Gingrich said. “It’s a totally open power. He could simply say, ‘Look, I want them to be my advisers. I pardon them if anyone finds them to have behaved against the rules. Period. Technically, under the Constitution, he has that level of authority.”

Rep. Mick Mulvaney (R-S.C.), the ultra-conservative congressman tapped by Donald Trump to run the Office of Management and Budget, recently accepted a speaking invitation from the notorious John Birch Society, an extreme right-wing group known for peddling outlandish conspiracy theories for more than half a century.
Quote:
He told his audience, "You all put out some really good stuff and it's always interesting." He said he was "looking forward to reading The Shadows of Power," a 1988 book by James Perloff with the subtitle "The Council on Foreign Relations and the American Decline." The book advances conspiracy theories about the New York-based think tank, alleging that it advocates "the creation of a world government." After referring to this book, he told the crowd, "Keep doing it."

Today's fun from trumpland,

He is going to have a private army loyal only to him

He is being advised that no matter what laws he or anyone break he can just pardon them

This is going to go so well for America.

Comey letter was about her private email server which was about the discovery of Anthony Weiner's laptop, not hacked Podesta or DNC emails.

You really don't have any idea what you are talking about. Did you accidentally strangle yourself with cords and cables? Your brain is seriously lacking oxygen.

The conference call 4 days after by the Clinton campaign laid the blame out on the Comey letter. The Axelrod interview with Joel Benneson (?) spent most of it talking about the Comey letter being the reason. 3 weeks later its the Russians making Clinton lose.

Laughable and pathetic. ...
Yeah I might've phrased that poorly but what's the central theme here? Trying to find proof of HRC=Devil on some ****ing email, somewhere.

You're really trying to say these are unrelated, and blaming Comey+Russians is throwing crap at the wall to see what sticks?

If your turn off the lights, stare in the mirror, and say EMAILS!!! 3 times, HRC will appear and lecture you about civic responsibility.
