Virginia white man calls cops on a brown guy after a hard screen in a pickup basketball game

Twitter thread:

Guy in black shirt w/ arms folded called the cops on the guy with the arm sleeves
07-17-2018 , 05:09 PM
lol, dude took being the ***** who calls fouls in a pickup game to an entirely different level
07-17-2018 , 05:23 PM
i cant even imagine what a ***** you have to be to do that

if the other players there have any self-respect they'll foul him mercilessly if he ever has the nerve to show back up
07-17-2018 , 05:29 PM
Going to be a lot of wasted cop hours if the derps decide that playing basketball while black is a crime.

Onion.

No, seriously, this can't be real life. Onion. Please? Onion?

The writer clues that we are living in a simulation are getting increasingly heavy handed.

The reason I know it's not Onion is because someone else won the pony race.

I imagine that if you look carefully at the Milky Way, the arrangement of the stars spells out "It's a simulation!" Probably in all caps, too. Unfortunately, you can only see it properly from one point in the solar system's orbit around the galaxy. So since we weren't here to catch it last time, it might be another 250 million years til the next opportunity.

The article kinda weirdly downplays it in that very journalist matter of thinking "someone says something crazy" is by itself newsworthy and therefore should be printed without real contradiction, but like, the real story is so much wilder.

He didn't shoot his mom in self-defense, he murdered his family, burned the house down, then spent long enough in legal limbo because of mental incapacity that the prosecution abandoned the prosecution.

There's this INSANE thing where old white people can't be called wrong, Jesus Christ in this article the author is only willing to say **** like "documents at the time cast doubt on Wilson's version of events" mother****er that man got away with MURDER.

In 2015, a Tampa insurance company sued to stop Daniel from picketing outside its office with signs — some showing Nazi and Confederate flags — and using the company's name and racial slurs, including, "We support tradition. N------ get nothing."

...

The Tampa company was "the closest representative of a network" that was treating "a simple insurance claim in a racist manner," Daniel said at a hearing.

"Why are you out there with these signs?" County Judge Jennifer Gabbard asked.

"It's a strategy," Daniel told her. "It's a peaceful response to that offense."

Daniel described himself as a "professional protester" associated with the African People's Socialist Party, or Uhuru movement. And he said he would not try to resolve his insurance problem by, for instance, complaining to the Florida Department of Financial Services.

...

In the insurance company case, Gabbard granted an injunction ordering Daniel to stop displaying the signs about the company for 24 months or face jail. She ruled the signs falsely accused the company of being racist and associated it with "symbols of hatred."

Yeah sorry if I sounded snarky but that dude is fascinating.

There's a reggae band called Black Uhuru but I didn't know the actual Uhurus were still a thing. I thought they petered out with the rest of the 1st-gen black power movement.

A star California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo wrestling recruit had his scholarship rescinded after being caught on video yelling an anti-gay slur at a rally in Modesto, California.
Bronson Harmon, 18, was with his father at a Families Belong Together march on June 30, which was protesting the Trump administration policy of separating families at the border. As a counter-demonstrator, Harmon, holding a "Donald Trump 2016" sign, was filmed yelling "F— you, f—t" at a camera videotaping him.
