That show's a hoot. Only seen a couple episodes though.

Come on, you gotta have some comedic chops to get to where she is.

Wow that's really cool. I was just thinking the writing is so sharp that she must've brought some TDS or Colbert heavy hitters.

You are bad at the logic.

It's not really explained why the first class passengers booed. Do they announce they're loading up a coffin of a service member? Not as far as I can tell. The situation probably went down with the cabin crew announcing there would be a delay, people booing the delay and the guy putting it together that they were booing the dead son.

“To hear the reaction of the flight being delayed because of a Gold Star family and the first class cabin booing, that was really upsetting, and it made us cry some more,” he said.
there is a video too of him talking about it... pretty damn obvious that 'because of a Gold Star family' means the passengers were aware.
11-19-2016 , 01:39 PM
Yea that's him putting two and two together. It doesn't say that they announced they were delaying the flight to load the coffin and people were booing because they hate military people.
11-19-2016 , 02:20 PM
Ok, so they announce that the flight is being delayed because they are loading the coffin of a dead marine to be brought home.

People start booing.

..but they are just booing because the flight is being delayed... the booing has nothing to do with the dead marine.

..and you don't find that disrespectful??

Well no, we don't know that they announced they were loading the coffin of a dead service member. For the life of me I've never heard the captain give that specific of an announcement for a delay. That leads me to think that the announcer said there was some delay. Then people booed. The father knew or thought he knew the delay was about his son's coffin and then combined that together to say they were booing his dead son.

In any case, booing a delay because of a coffin of anybody is terrible, much less a servicemember, so, if true, shame on the narcissistic first class passengers.

Yeah. Sounds like correlation not equaling causation there.

Never heard a pilot announce a dead soldier as a reason for a delay.
11-19-2016 , 03:26 PM
The last flight I was on the pilot announced that so-and-so high school was going to the cheerleading finals. I have been on flights where all kinds of crap has been announced.

I have. They generally announce this because there is a somewhat elaborate ceremony when they load the remains into the hold. Everyone on the right side of the plane is able to see it.
11-19-2016 , 03:48 PM
So, the passengers traveling "Trump" class prefer soldiers who neither die nor inconvenience them?

[Yawn]
11-19-2016 , 03:49 PM
Well, it generally doesn't cause a delay. But they will usually announce when there is a servicemember's remains being transported.
11-19-2016 , 04:14 PM
Horrible if true, but it's the kind of thing I'd really need to see video to believe. Booing in that situation is psychopathic. Very hard to believe > 2 people on any given flight would be capable of that kind of behavior.

Meanwhile, in other news from Trump's America,

Edit: I wouldn't say he should resign. He's entitled to his terrible unamerican opinions, but I can't say if this violates judicial ethics rules, for example.

LOL @ Trump getting annoyed that Pence was booed at a theatre. I guess he wants every place in America to be a politically correct safe space?
11-19-2016 , 06:28 PM
If you couldn't tell he was trolling. Theater should be a safe space? How many stereotyped social justice warriors would even say that? Now New York elites are all fussy while Pence/Trump get to play the wounded every day guys who just went to the show but mean liberals said bad words at them.

Bezos - Trump war going to heat up?

The one thing that helps me feel secure about a Trump America is the second amendment.

If he becomes tyrannical then at least America is full of armed militia itching to support his cause, I mean rebel against teh guberment.
