how could anybody spot a disgusting pig rocking some white power gear like that and resist the urge to savagely and relentlessly mock him to his face

The fact that he's probably packing heat discourages it.

Guy might have a gun. Let him carry on with his bad self.

ETA: This seems like the same crap I hear every day wrt to AOC and ****. We shouldn't bring up possible socialist ideas because they will get ripped on, blah blah blah. WE can't rip this guy because he could possibly have a gun and decide to shoot us all? JFC. My state doesn't require any concealed carry permit. Do I have to avoid any conversation with someone because they might be packing? **** that!

If you thought you'd seen the last of Nazi Beer Pong High School in Orange County, CA: YOU WERE WRONG

Nazi Fliers Left at California High School Already Reeling From Swastika Photos

Quote:
A Southern California high school that has sought to quell outrage after photographs surfaced of students giving a Nazi salute at a party is reeling again after officials say fliers with Nazi swastikas were found on campus over the weekend.

Late Saturday night or early Sunday morning “Nazi posters” were placed on the campus of the school, Newport Harbor High, a spokeswoman for the school district, Adriana Angulo, said Wednesday. School officials immediately called the Newport Beach police department to report them, Ms. Angulo said. She described the act as “vandalism.”

Officers responded to the school on Sunday morning and discovered about 10 fliers, some with Nazi symbols on them, said Heather Rangel, a spokeswoman for the police department.
Nazis know a hot recruiting center when they see one, apparently. And this reveals the utter fraud behind the idea of "healing" after such incidents:

Quote:
Leaders on campus and in the community have appeared optimistic that the students involved had learned their lesson and that the situation offered a teachable moment of sorts. Newport Harbor student leaders united in a call to end hate; some students reportedly wrote open letters of apology; and even Ms. Schloss, 89, told reporters that after meeting with students, she thought they had “learned a lesson for life.”

“I think this school has got the message,” she said last week.
"teachable moment" lololol. "Ms. Schloss" in this paragraph is Anne Frank's stepsister, who spoke to the school last week. We are so ****ing desperate, as a society, to put things behind us and engage in these bull**** displays of "healing".

Sadly depending on the state Americans need to actually consider it

Utah congresscritter says he's "an ethnic" because he's "a Westerner" and also the Green New Deal is "genocide"

Quote:
“For many people who live in the West, but also in rural and urban areas, the ideas behind the Green New Deal are tantamount to genocide,” Rep. Rob Bishop (R-Utah) said at a news conference held with other GOP House members in Washington. “That may be an overstatement, but not by a whole lot.”
Quote:
After the news conference was over, Axios reporter Amy Harder pointed out that the term “genocide” refers to the deliberate mass murder of a particular national or ethnic group and asked Bishop how the Green New Deal fits that definition.

“I’m an ethnic,” Bishop said. “I’m a Westerner.”

“And you think the Green New Deal is going to kill you?” Harder asked.

“If you actually implement everything they want to,” Bishop replied. “Killing would be positive if you implement everything the Green New Deal actually wants to.”
If you failed to detect the comedy routine the representative was performing, he later clarified:

Quote:
Later on Thursday, Bishop said in a statement to the Salt Lake Tribune that he had been joking, but that he fully believed that the plan would be catastrophic. “My comments were obviously not meant literally, and should not detract from the fact that the so-called Green New Deal is born of attitudes that show no respect for the lives and livelihoods of the American people,” he said.
lol

As somebody who has concealed carried in the past. There is no where on that man's body to conceal a gun.

From the personal files and actually saying the quiet parts aloud - was at the bank which is inside a grocery store chatting with one of the managers about football and how his Steelers let AB/Bell go because of money. “I’m not racist at all but ...~insert racist comment how ‘the blacks’ aren’t good with money anyway so why does it matter how much they get”.

There was one teller and one other customer within earshot as well.

Heh. Athletes seem to be pretty bad with money, but as a class I'd put MD's up with them. A healthy percentage of older docs are white and unbelievably crappy in handling money. We had two separate major scams targeting MD's in my area about 15 and 20 years ago, and it was laughable how many guys got cleaned out twice.

Interesting podcast about financial illiteracy and money management among football players compared to the general population (among other things): http://freakonomics.com/podcast/ever...ey-afraid-ask/

stopped listening to that podcast after they did multiple episodes trying to portray the kochs as sympathetic, misunderstood figures

just assumed they were in the tank at that point

Missouri lawmaker files bills requiring some residents to own AR-15s, handguns
The first bill, the McDaniel Second Amendment Act, would require Missouri residents aged 21 or older to purchase a handgun. It also would allot up to $1 million per year in tax credits for residents who purchased weapons to comply with the law. The bill was filed in late February.

The second bill, the McDaniel Militia Act, was filed days after the handgun bill and would require Missouri residents aged 18 to 35 to purchase an AR-15. It also would provide a tax credit of up to $1 million per year to incentivize the purchase of weapons.

As I recall, The Millionaire Next Door (a great book) singled out doctors and lawyers as often being terrible with money.

With pro athletes, it's much more understandable. Lots of guys who have never had any kind of money and don't have family members who know how to manage money suddenly find themselves with eight-figure contracts. Plus, they're young men and jocks, of course they're going to be completely irresponsible.

There’s a great 30 for 30 about athletes lack of financial acumen. Also I think the NFL runs specific seminars for draft picks on how to spend their money. I recall that Herm Edwards might be the keynote there ( very well could be the same 30 for 30).

I was just pointing out the comment by the bank manager that anyone starting a comment with “I’m not racist/sexist/homophobic BUT....” is usually gonna say something that proves they are.

Reminds me of the recent NYT safari. "I'm not a racist, BUT..."

Ten seconds passed.

Twenty seconds passed.

And then Ms. Huddy leaned in.

“I’ll give you a hint,” she said, whispering, “They have names like Vasquez and Hernandez.”
I can already picture the several paragraph post to her Facebook page since this was published in which she swears she's not racist and the Fake News New York Times bamboozled her by unfairly writing down the words she spoke
