Yeah, I am feeling close to 0 patriotism today. A lot has happened in the last two years to make me really question whether it's even possible for my neighbors and I to be patriotic about the same thing. How do I enjoy a fireworks display in my local city knowing that 60% of the people on the grass with me would have supported Japanese internment had they been alive in the 40's, or supported the holocaust had they been alive in Hitler's Germany.
It's no fun being patriotic amongst a bunch of people who just want to bend over and lick the boots of a god king who has somehow gotten control of the country you want to be patriotic about.
