Ajit Pai is trying to ruin the internet.

Which makes him incredibly horrible and yet probably not in the top 5 here. Same with DeVos

I love me some internet, and am a teacher. So Pai and DeVos strike a more personal nerve with me
02-19-2018 , 10:35 PM
I can be convinced of that. Only three I'm locking in are Trump, Hannity and Gorka.
02-20-2018 , 12:08 AM
Net neutrality is an important issue but it's not going to ruin America or destroy people's lives.
02-20-2018 , 12:11 AM
Clarke is top five.
02-20-2018 , 12:20 AM
1,2,7,9,11

potentially in that order
02-20-2018 , 12:35 AM
Guess ole Sheriff Joe was booked
02-20-2018 , 12:40 AM
OK I've scienced this **** out guys. There's no point trying to split them on policy, they all support deplorable stuff, so here are ratings out of 5 for excellence in the fields of being a piece of **** on a personal level and being a lunatic:

Being a piece of **** on a personal levelBeing a lunaticTotal
Donald Trump5510
Sean Hannity5510
Sheriff David Clarke5510
Dana Loesch459
Sebastian Gorka549
Mike Pence538
Ted Cruz448
Wayne La Pierre448
Betsy DeVos347
John Bolton437
Gov Gary Johnson347
Ben Shapiro347
Eric Bolling437
Judge Jeanine Pirro347
Marion Le Pen426
Don McGhan426
Rick Perry336
Nigel Farage336
Ajit Pai235

So there you have it, Pence doesn't make the top 5. I was as surprised as anyone, but if you disagree, please point to the person in the top 5 you would like to install as President over Pence. I'll wait.

Should be noted that:

The Milwaukee County Jail turned the water off to inmate Terrill Thomas' cell, resulting in his death by dehydration on April 24, 2016. According to inmates, the water was turned off for six days and the staff refused to provide water to Thomas. On September 15, 2016, the Milwaukee medical examiner ruled Thomas's death a homicide.
Quote:
Sheriff David Clarke, who oversees the jail, said he had no comment on the lawsuit but he noted Thomas’ criminal background in an email statement.

“I have nearly 1000 inmates. I don’t know all their names but is this the guy who was in custody for shooting up the Potawatomi Casino causing one man to be hit by gunfire while in possession of a firearm by a career convicted felon?” Clarke said. “The media never reports that in stories about him. If that is him, then at least I know who you are talking about.”
**** him.

You have a member of the National Front not a lunatic?
02-20-2018 , 12:45 AM
I feel like I should maybe have given DeVos a 2/5 for being a piece of ****. Remember we're grading on a curve here. I know she supports damaging stuff but that largely falls under "being a lunatic". She donates a bunch of money to charities and generally gives the impression of being someone who wants to do the right thing but is badly misguided about what that is. Cast your eye up the list from her and imagine I described any of them as someone who wants to do the right thing. Try not to laugh out loud.
02-20-2018 , 12:50 AM
Not sure the ratings are perfect but it’s a start. From what I know of Bolton he’s a complete lunatic, Perry seems like he should be higher, Farage probably higher, Gary Johnson is easily a 5 lunatic. Don McGhan standing up to Trump even if for the wrong reasons probably makes him the most redeemable. I agree with your statement about DeVos, she has horrible ideas but it’s not her fault that Trump assigned her misguided ass to a job she is unqualified for.
02-20-2018 , 12:56 AM
Pence is def a 5 on the lunatic scale. He might be less on the POS scale.
Ted Cruz a 5 POS.
How is Gorka not maxed out on lunatic? He should be a 6.

I could have given her a 3. IDK much about her but the National Front is downright sensible in comparison to most of these people. It's the same with Farage, both are on the border from 2-3. Both of them would probably count as moderates in the GOP.

When I say "lunatic" I'm talking about dangerous lunacy, that would have consequences if in power. Mormonism is an objectively crazy set of beliefs, but Romney would probably get a zero lunatic score. Pirro got her 4 rating from this, for instance:

Quote:
Additionally, Pirro has called for arresting individuals who work for the FBI and the broader Justice Department who do not support Donald Trump, a long-time friend of hers. Pirro called for "cleansing" those government agencies of people critical to the president.
I mean you're probably not scoring above a 3 here if you're not calling for dismantling important institutions of the US government. That's just where we're at these days.

These are actually pretty standard speakers by CPAC standards. CPAC is always buck wild crazysauce.
02-20-2018 , 01:05 AM
By "lunatic" I basically mean how dangerous they are, like how off the rails the US and the world would go if they got into power. Gary Johnson is a weird dude but the US and the world would survive a Johnson presidency without breaking a sweat. I realise writing this that Bolton is an easy 4. Gorka I don't know enough about and maybe he should be a 5.

Rush is an easy 10/10, and deserves an extra point for how long he has been poisoning the political discussion in America

Trump is the first POTUS to speak.

Alright Clarke probably is top 5. Just hard to remember what deplorable ****er was responsible for what.

rush is like 100 out of 10 on the irredeemable piece of **** who should die asap scale

Rush only gets a 4 on the lunatic scale because he's kind of self-aware, like Coulter. He gets a 6 on the piece of **** scale though so it works out. Tucker might even get a 3 on the lunatic scale if I were feeling generous. Coulter 4. The rest are 5s. Would have to do too much research to figure out how bad they are on a personal level.

I wasn't sure what to do about this. This is what Jiggy is talking about:

Quote:
In January 2018 The New York Times reported that in June, 2017, the president asked McGahn to instruct top Justice Department officials to dismiss special counsel Robert Mueller, and that McGahn refused, instead threatening to resign.
In the end I gave him a 2 rating for lunacy, which is the lowest possible score for a Trump supporter, but gave him a 4/5 piece of **** rating for enabling Trump.
02-20-2018 , 03:28 AM
My top 5 are:
Trump - no explanation necessary
Hannity - poisoning minds for years
La Pierre - for all the blood on his hands
Gorka — for being an actual Nazi
Clarke - for gladly becoming the commander of a concentration camp if given the chance

What an amazing list of people, can I use my one time for an asteroid to strike CPAC?
I would love to see the March for our Lives kids organize a large enough protest to surround this place and prevent these speakers from even making it.

I was surprised how few have La Pierre in their top 5. He's essentially the head and face of the largest American terrorist organization in history.
