$30m a year

again, is there a lower hanging fruit than trolling old white idiots, when are we going to monetize this

Freedom Alert iphone/android app, $0.99. Just have someone sit around refreshing Drudge and broadcast the links that are sure to work up right-wing froth to app users. That will get you the ones who are advanced enough to actually own a smartphone, for everyone else you can have a free daily newsletter with the same content that includes subliminal messaging to upgrade to a smartphone and purchase the app so that they can be Alerted anywhere, instantly.

(this has to exist already, right?)

Flip it over to FOX and you've got Neil DeGrasse Tyson lying to your kids about the so-called "climate change" scam on primetime! Eventually we're going to have Cialis commercials with gay couples and I worry the oldsters are going to flip their **** entirely.

I kinda don't like the phrase "wrong side of history," but this is the scared and confused face of culture passing people on by.

Isn't that just stop and frisk?

Just small government conservatives suggesting we make more situations in our lives like the airport one he hates.

Hyperbole police literally itt
04-13-2014 , 03:54 PM
It's not a bad idea though. Pat down every person and put them through a metal detector coming within 150 feet of a voting booth .

I mean come on the NEW BLACK PANTHERS didn't need an ID to terrorize voters amiright?

Indeed. I heard a women broke up the mob and probably saved his life. I didn't get through to the talk radio for scoldaments, but that was part of the story they had omitted in their zest to describe the race of the people involved.

The next day they pulled an agism card on Hank Aaron for comparing the GOP to the KKK and then spent 5 whole minutes saying they weren't racists. Of course one of the co-hosts uses the term "tar baby" on the air to describe bad things often enough that I noticed as an occassional listener. I remember thinking it's like PU on the radio today lol.

Man I don't even know what tar baby means. Gotta work on my racist southerner game.

But yeah, racial animosity was apparently involved in the beatdown, and this was a huge story when I was in the Detroit area last week.

You're not giving the Huckabee and the rest of the right enough credit for the coherent conservativespeak here. Remember voter ID checks are just for blacks and other assorted sundry non-whites, along with the other tactics to make voting slow and painful in neighborhoods and cities where all the blacks live. Just like how they would love the TSA to operate: leave white grandma alone, give the frisking to the Muslim. They are entirely consistent on this point that airport security is for Muslimy types, maybe blacks carrying drugs or something, but definitely not whites.

Well it's a sticky term. :P

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tar-Baby

Interesting list of pols who have used the term.

Quote:
Several United States politicians—including presidential candidates John Kerry, John McCain, Michele Bachmann, and Mitt Romney—have been criticized by civil rights leaders, the media, and fellow politicians for using the "tar baby" metaphor.[17][18] An article in The New Republic argued that people are "unaware that some consider it to have a second meaning as a slur" and it "is an obscure slur, not even known to be so by a substantial proportion of the population." It continued that, "those who feel that tar baby's status as a slur is patently obvious are judging from the fact that it sounds like a racial slur".[19]
Well I hate to dissappoint, I'm not sure it's a southern slur or even a bona fide slur. I first heard it used as one as a kid around some relatives from Peoria, Illinois. Also, apparently it took on different meaning to describe what washed up on shore after the BP oil spill in the gulf.

Anyone following the Nevada rancher story?

Rancher decides not to pay grazing fees on federally-managed land, then claims he doesn't recognize the federal government "as even existing", gets in a showdown with federal agents and gets favorable press from Sean Hannity, and claims victory when the feds back down to reassess the situation.

His group also makes classy statements. So they take advantage of below-market-value federal land and water projects, don't want to pay for using them, and they think the government is in the wrong? And here I thought Sean Hannity hated mooching freeloaders living off the government.

I didn't think it was that much of a fringe topic, but I guess when these issues come up, it invariably becomes that...

Still, I think it's rather telling that Hannity and the rightie blogosphere in general has decided to go to bat for this bat**** rancher as part of the vanguard of FREEDOM.

You missed the part where he was paying the feds to maintain the land, and they supposedly stopped maintaining the land. But whatever. Don't care.

No Ikes.

He was leasing grazing rights from the BLM. They did not renew his lease. He continued to let his animals graze anyways.

The Atlanta Braves have been deluged with hate mail after baseball great Hank Aaron's recent comments about racism in America and President Obama's critics.

According to USA Today, the Braves organization has received hundreds of letters, emails and phone calls since Aaron made his comments a week ago.
