That op-ed is basically saying "**** the will of the people. It's not what's best for the party. Therefore the election was bad."

**** that. What's best for the party is to accept the results and adjust their platform, not force it down our throats whether we like it or not.

The guy who wrote that is an editor at Red State lol

America could really do with another party to protect the interests of old white billionaires. Never get a fair shake.

What she and most people like her mean is that only one type can win her vote in 2020.

Look its not complicated. The progressive wing of the democratic party is not going to win any votes from conservatives or republicans, plenty of whom would gladly vote for a centrist democrat in the next election. https://twitter.com/DGreenbaum/statu...459952130?s=17
Yeah, plenty of them. Riiiiiight.

WE DON'T NEED REPUBLICAN VOTES WE NEED TURNOUT!!!

I like Ocasio-Cortez but agree that she shouldn't get the 2020 nomination.

I loathe Bloomberg but agree that a four foot tall billionaire Republican is the perfect Democratic candidate.

A Bloomberg/Comey ticket 2020 would be the most perfect thing ever.

From that article:
Quote:
In states like South Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Louisiana, and Mississippi, where Hillary Clinton significantly outperformed Bernie Sanders in the primaries, a more centrist approach, like that of Bloomberg's, would still garner much more support.
And how did Hillary do in those states in the general election?
06-29-2018 , 11:34 AM
Hey at least Bloomberg actually does something about guns

SESSIONS 2020!

Should the democrats be the party of old white millionaires or young minority heroes? Well the last old white millionaire they ran got stomped by a cartoon villain with dementia whereas the last young minority hero they ran won two terms by a huge margin. You tell me!

Has anyone coined the term click-hate? Like click bait but instead of '10 things you didn't know about cute puppies' you click because you're so annoyed that someone could say something so dumb.

Pretty lol.

Virginia may be the only state where being a centrist will help the dems win a presidential election, maybe Florida. Sure a centrist could do better in Connecticut, but that's no more relevant to the outcome than a progressive doing better in Hawaii.

Right, because the only way to enjoy that song is in its Ren McCormack glory:

i assume this is a joke. but i feel like some of these centrist people think this is a real thing thats gonna happen. they seem so scared that the party is getting younger.
