Can we make this thread actually productive and have an Ilhan Omar twitter bot?

In a word, yes. He’s a much much smarter version of Sklansky.

yeah but what happens if the Omar bot breaks the forum rule against anti-Semitism?
02-18-2019 , 06:02 PM
We get to laugh at people that won’t let it go nor admit Omar’s capability to apologize and learn is an asset to the country.

An asset I for one wish we had in a certain resident of the White House.

Trump posted racist stuff last week and you failed to comment on it. You need to GTFO with this "owning the libs" pukefest act you have because how hypocritical it is.

that sounds like an RNC/Red Lobster mashup promotion!

(what trump post are you referring to? LMK and i'll comment on it.)

Gee I don't know. Perhaps something about Native American genocide. Or was that two weeks ago? I can't keep track.

Chyme probably has a coffee mug that says "trail of liberal tears."

You mean in the totality of his thread? That could take a while.

Oh, we'll all jump right on that. Your comments are always so edifying and illuminating. They are what we come here for.

well, if they can beat a dead horse, so can I, I guess. Also, San Diego rep just saying the quiet parts out loud.

UNACCEPTABLE!

It is pretty bad that there's no legit way to criticize the US-Israeli relationship in our political system.

One issue is that there are so many bad faith anti-semitic arguments against Israel that it is difficult to separate real criticism from people who are using any excuse they can to attack Israel and Jews.

But the US political system has gone overboard by making any kind of criticism of Israel verboten.

I'm thinking he meant something like: questioning the motivation for American's support for Israel and implying it's because they have dual loyalties is unacceptable? Could a Democrat Congressman really be saying questioning U.S support for Israel is wrong period? I hope not - that alone would merit primarying.
03-04-2019 , 06:08 PM
The majority of people believe that PGUK. It's exactly why she's in trouble!
03-04-2019 , 07:20 PM
Seems to me that they are literally making her point for her, no? Not that it will be seen this way of course. Seriously whoever said that Dems should just 100% ignore Israel is correct, there is no longer a good path forward there unless Netanyahu goes and someone better comes along. Unfortunately our current governments have a lot of shared interests at the moment, namely corruption and white supremacy.

Wow Vargas really saying the quiet parts out loud there. What a ridiculous show of cowardice from the Democratic Party. And their doing this right after Omar has been put on a hit list and a mega-racist poster linking her to the 9/11 attacks was posted at the WV capitol.
03-04-2019 , 08:53 PM
the resolution doesn't name Omar. (apparently, though, there were a number of Dems who did want her specifically rebuked in it.) Instead, it's a brief recap of anti Semitism in America and a condemnation of certain anti-Semitic acts, such as raising the specter/perpetuating the stereotype of dual loyalty.

what's the over/under on the number of YES votes it gets? 300? 310?
