If the Nikes don't fit you must acquit

The ex-wife that is owed child support and alimony must be feeling very sad right now. There won't be any checks coming.

Nine months ago, there were a lot of Avenatti nut huggers in this forum, and I was catching plenty of criticism for not being one of them.

Please rename thread to "Michael Avenatti is the worstest attorney of our time"

I am shocked that Avenatti thought it was plausible that Nike would hire him to do a $10-12 million internal investigation. That is next level delusional.

I’m just picturing Avenatti and Cohen in jail together. What an incredible reality show that would be.

I wonder which one will be disbarred first

He knew it was extortive. Look at the excerpt I posted above. It’s basically.

Nike Lawyer: No one ever charges $10 million for this kind of work.

Avenatti: Yeah I know. It’s not a fee, I’m extorting your client, dumbasses.

Nike Lawyer: I’m glad we clarified this on a phone call that is definitely not being recorded.

It's a small world after all

Oh wow, this is where all of the weird subplots from last season come together. It’s a big crossover episode.

Damn, Geragos should have money from his jobs with Michael Jackson and others. Why would he tagteam with Avenatti? LOL

There should be a list of the Avenatti hype trainers.

I think Trolly was one of them.

I enjoyed Avenatti in the same way I enjoyed Scaramucci. If our society is going to go down in flames there should at least be some entertaining characters along the way imo.

Spicer > Scaramucci

I know that Avennati knew it was extortion. But the extortion scheme only works if Nike can pass it off as a legitimate internal investigation expense.

And that's where the logic of the extortion scheme falls apart. Avennati had no reason to believe that Nike could plausibly pass off a $10 million payment to him as compensation for an internal investigation because Nike would never, under any circumstances, pay Michael Avenatti $10 million to do an internal investigation.

That was recently. Rococo was talking about when people seriously thought Avenatti was a viable candidate because he was like the Trump of the left or some horse**** instead of realizing Avenatti was the class clown good for a few laughs.

Were you at least fan of his trollings? That is why I might have mistaken you for one of the Avenatti4Prez people.
