Nine months ago, there were a lot of Avenatti nut huggers in this forum, and I was catching plenty of criticism for not being one of them.

I am shocked that Avenatti thought it was plausible that Nike would hire him to do a $10-12 million internal investigation. That is next level delusional.

He knew it was extortive. Look at the excerpt I posted above. It’s basically.

Nike Lawyer: No one ever charges $10 million for this kind of work.

I enjoyed Avenatti in the same way I enjoyed Scaramucci. If our society is going to go down in flames there should at least be some entertaining characters along the way imo.

Avennati had no reason to believe that Nike could plausibly pass off a $10 million payment to him as compensation for an internal investigation because Nike would never, under any circumstances, pay Michael Avenatti $10 million to do an internal investigation.

That was recently. Rococo was talking about when people seriously thought Avenatti was a viable candidate because he was like the Trump of the left or some horse**** instead of realizing Avenatti was the class clown good for a few laughs.
