After a nail-biting overtime win over the necromancer's apprentice Steven Miller, Devin "Grapefruit Molester" Nunes has advanced to the final round to square off against Scott Pruitt in the EPA's Cone of Silence arena. Which one will take home the intercontinental WOAT Trump Official title belt?

Nunes is a joke. Other than writing ****ty memos that people laugh at, he's powerless compared to Pruitt. Pruitt's destructive changes in environmental policy could be directly responsible for more deaths in the long run than anybody else in human history.

Nunes is definitely doing way more damage than you suggest. That said Pruitt is obviously WOAT.

Jesus these 2. It's like debating Hitler's inner circle.

Can we do a runner up poll with DeVos vs Bolton vs Nunes?
05-07-2018 , 03:16 AM
I missed some of the voting, but I've been on team Pruitt all the way. We're coal rolling the entire planet.

Meh. Feel like Pruitt and Nunes are more corrupt than evil, and there’s a lot of evil in this tourney.
05-07-2018 , 08:54 AM
I really thought Bannon had a shot at the championship.

Pruitt is just a total piece of **** human, of unprecedented shamelessness, RELATIVE TO OTHER TRUMP OFFICIALS. The guy ruins my view of humanity.

I just have to go with Nunes. Pruitt is pretty uniquely terrible, but damn if Nunes doesn't trigger me like a mofo.

I can't even remember who I voted for, but I had to flip a coin to do it. I can't separate Pruitt, Nunes, Trump, and McConnell.

What is really bad about Nunes? He did bs propaganda for Donald Trump, but so did all of these clowns. I don't see how he's anywhere near runner up in this contest. Dude woulldn't even make my Top 5 worst GOP House members.

He is actively sabotaging the investigation into Russia's meddling in the election.
05-07-2018 , 11:12 PM
He definitely sucks, but I agree he's probably not top 5. He's just in a unique position to trigger the absolute hell out of us lol.

who honestly cares? it's mostly just noise.

miller is ruining the lives of millions of immigrants. pruitt is trying to ruin to planet. that's felt by real people

Pruitt could be replaced by any number of people willing to sell out the environment for big business. The replacement would be much more effective without the unethical cloud hanging over their heads (a dozen investigations? lol).

If you believe that finding out the truth about what Russia did during the election is important, then having someone so stridently partisan heading the supposed bi-partisan committee is terrible. This was a guy who was caught supplying documents to the White House early on in the process, who recused himself from Russia matters (for all of a week I think?) and who's only apparent reason for requesting documents is to use them to attack the Justice Dept. Don't forget the joke of a memo he put out also.

Now, there may be other Republican members of that committee who, in the position of chairman, would do the same. However, the combination of Nunes acting how he's done so far and the fact that he's gotten no censure from his fellow Republicans, has shone a light on how weak the separation of powers truly is. Under this administration the weakness of the system of Checks and Balances have been exposed and undermining the system is now apparently business as usual for the Legislative branch.

i don't tbh. compared to having someone just slightly less bad for the environment in place, it's not important.

I don't think Nunes is just carrying water and working to cover up what other people did. That dude is personally tied up in something.

Pruitt is a total dirtbag but I doubt he's on the KGB payroll.

wat? i could have been clearer maybe but the point was that miller and pruitt cause real suffering while the russia stuff is mostly just noise with little impact on people's lives

So don't view what Nunes is doing as putting up roadblocks to prevent anyone from finding out what happened during the election. Instead view his actions as a direct attack on the concept of separate branches - lose that and we're on the road that leads to tyranny.

ps: I had Pruitt as my #2 in the pool - he's a despicable glutton who's actions call for the return of the guillotine (this is not a threat, no need to increase your security detail Mr. Pruitt).

Pretty sure you misinterpreted his post.

Every time I think about this tournament I become more dumbfounded at how deep the awfulness runs in this administration. Went Pruitt here but there are many who could legitimately hold the title for woat Trump official.
05-09-2018 , 12:17 PM
There‘s no Pruitt without Trump in office and Nunes is doing everything he can to keep him there.

Nunes still hard at work on obstruction.

"Secret intelligence source who aided Mueller probe is at center of latest clash between Nunes and Justice Dept."

I think Bolton could have beaten Nunes, and that the real final was last round.
