Barry was at my table for awhile in the $215 6 max PLO event. He played pretty tight for the most part. Only hand of note, He raised PF w/AKKJ, I 3-bet w/T986ds, and he called. Flop was JJT w/2 spades (i had 2xspades in my hand), check check. Turn as Qs, check, I bet 2/3 pot, Barry calls. River is a blank, check, check. He really needed to bet the flop imo.

Is barry contractually obligated to play in these things? A $320 event sounds like it would majorly cut into his hourly rate.

Lots of Chik-Fil-A's employees come in through the church connections rather than conventional hiring methods. For that reason they tend to be motivated, well-spoken, and clean cut.

He just busted out of the mixed holdem event and he was in the 2-7 event a couple days ago.

The scenerio I could envison would be one where inflation ravages the economy. While commodity prices will skyrocket in nominal terms, wages won't come anywhere close to keeping pace. Hence, even though one's $200,000 mortgage is suddenly worth $20,000 in real terms, it won't matter to the guy who is suddenly forced to pay $3,000/month in groceries. He'll no longer be able to pay the nominal (yet in real terms greatly reduced) mortgage payment. Thus many of these "real" assets are headed the banks' way regardless. So the only debtors who will benefit from this will be the bigtime banks (who will maintain continued access to cheap printing press reserves) and of course the biggest debtor of them all, the government.

Sounds about right. Then, Serfdom 2.0.

As someone just gutted his kitchen, I totally get this.

Although the previous owner put in this nice granite, but left the old appliances and cabinets from what had to be the 70s. It was awful, but we couldn't use the granite they left. We had to put brand new slabs in. It looks great, and its supposed to last forever, so I'm a granite fan I guess.
