Our offense was definitely a lot better, unfortunately we got picked apart in the secondary. Miami's WR Cooper is blazing fast.

I'm at Barry Greenstein's table in the $320 Badugi WCOOP event. I ****ing love this game.

Barry was at my table for awhile in the $215 6 max PLO event. He played pretty tight for the most part. Only hand of note, He raised PF w/AKKJ, I 3-bet w/T986ds, and he called. Flop was JJT w/2 spades (i had 2xspades in my hand), check check. Turn as Qs, check, I bet 2/3 pot, Barry calls. River is a blank, check, check. He really needed to bet the flop imo.

Is barry contractually obligated to play in these things? A $320 event sounds like it would majorly cut into his hourly rate.

Lots of Chik-Fil-A's employees come in through the church connections rather than conventional hiring methods. For that reason they tend to be motivated, well-spoken, and clean cut.

I'm generally not into organized religion, but man can they fry some good chicken...

I don't know. I'll bet he does have to, although it's not like he has to play only that table. Although he is actually playing only one table. So I don't know...

He just busted out of the mixed holdem event and he was in the 2-7 event a couple days ago.

After reading this forum for a while would I be accurate to conclude that extreme statism or collectivism is dead?

The main disagreements here do not seem to be over what type of management of society is best but more over what type of individualism is best.

The next polling is planned for December:

(this question seems better placed in the Political LC thread btw)

Yeah, I meant racially. For whatever reason, CFA tends to have less minority workers.

No racist ban please, just making an observation.

Before I forget, I'll take this opportunity to formally call out Dvaut, Ikes, and any other pollitard UM fan. You're on notice that the Fat One and his "decided schematic advantage" will lead the glorious Fighting Irish of Notre Dame to stomp a giant mudhole into the hapless Wolverines in their own "Big House."

Willing to back up this obvious plain truth with an Avatar/title bet, or am open to other suggestions. In the meantime you have my sympathies for it being such a downright awful time to a Michigan fan (which is pretty much any moment in human history imo).

The scenerio I could envison would be one where inflation ravages the economy. While commodity prices will skyrocket in nominal terms, wages won't come anywhere close to keeping pace. Hence, even though one's $200,000 mortgage is suddenly worth $20,000 in real terms, it won't matter to the guy who is suddenly forced to pay $3,000/month in groceries. He'll no longer be able to pay the nominal (yet in real terms greatly reduced) mortgage payment. Thus many of these "real" assets are headed the banks' way regardless. So the only debtors who will benefit from this will be the bigtime banks (who will maintain continued access to cheap printing press reserves) and of course the biggest debtor of them all, the government.

No granite countertops = just above poverty level in my wife's opinion.

OK, think I came across the best parody of the moronic facebook healthcare post. Here it goes:

No one should be frozen in carbonite, and no one should be slowly digested over thousands of years in the belly of a sarlaac, just because they couldn't pay Jabba the Hut what they owe him. If you agree, please post this as your status for the rest of the day.

Looks like corian? Totally 90's!

I like the fact that the only pic with your wife in it is the kitchen. She does not, however, appear to be making you a sandwich, or pie.

BTW, we have fused quartz countertops, I find they are superior to granite in every way except snob value.

As someone just gutted his kitchen, I totally get this.

Although the previous owner put in this nice granite, but left the old appliances and cabinets from what had to be the 70s. It was awful, but we couldn't use the granite they left. We had to put brand new slabs in. It looks great, and its supposed to last forever, so I'm a granite fan I guess.

Now that your posting Ikes see callout above ^^^^^

Oh and Big-

Sorry to puss out, but I'm not that interested. I got enough on the line already to bet.

And it's never a bad time to be a Michigan fan. The recent allegations really piss me off as well. The mantra we heard over and over from the compliance department was that an accusation against one sport was an accusation against every sport, and this is the second time I've had some crap newspaper report some 'scandal' that was complete bull****. **** the AA News (haha you're broke) and the Freep (haha you'll be gone soon too)
