He wasn’t a fellow employee. He was either a (out)patient, or the family of someone who is a patient. So in that situation I didn’t feel like I could speak my mind without having all hell broken loose on me. Luckily the guy behind the counter asked me what I was having at a pretty good time.
If it wasn’t a patron/employee situation though, I enjoy feigning ignorance. Works really well with my ******* coworker who lectured me about how it’s okay for him to say k*** because he knows the etymology of the word.
