I don't have to respond to every dumb thing the President does.

I could comment that the sky is blue and half of you would argue that the fact I enjoy a blue sky is because I'm a alt-righter who only wants a racially pure clear blue sky and am totes racist against a clouded sky because it's colored in shades of gray and black.

I know some of you buckeyes, or whatever you call yourselves, are good people, but it's looking like something is very wrong with Ohio.

LOL the guy who voted for a racist because he wants a thicker wallet is indignant about people portraying him as a racist himself.

In awfal999's world, it's drama when a guy raises his fist up, kneels and makes political statements when there are guys in the locker room who have sexually assaulted women who actually make teams.
I'm a Dolphins fan.

When Tannehill went down, media was all "What about Kapernick?".

They forgot he loved Castro too much. And the Florida Cubans don't take too kindly to that.

Instead we got LOLCUTTTLAAAH.

There's a price to be paid for political statements.

I remember the LOLLOLOLOLing around here when Twitter was doxxing Charlottesville KKK marchers and they were getting fired from their jobs.

Newsflash, this is America. Companies don't want to be associated with Alt-Righters with Tiki Torchers or quarterbacks that kneel during the national anthem. That's life.
09-02-2017 , 02:33 PM
And now we back to making BLM and KKK equivalencies. Dude, give it up, your belief system is fubar.

Yet for some reason you do have to pop in and opine on the merits of some backup sportsball guy.

I don't think Kapernick is blacklisted because of BLM. If he marched around with BLM for the Missouri or Baltimore protests, or donated money to the organization it wouldn't be what it is.

It's the fact that he's kneeling during the national anthem.

This is America. We love our troops. And our flag. Think of the ads during NFL games. Budweiser. Ford Trucks. MURICA. I think it's the kneeling during the national anthem that really ****ed him over. It's not even why he was kneeling, its the act of kneeling during the anthem.

I opine on things that interest me.

401k tax deductions.

A poster not understanding why a backup sportsballer doesn't have a job.

I'm not a victim. But I still post here because I refuse to be driven away from a forum that I've been a member of for longer than nearly every liberal "reg" poster here.

Belichick banished Jamie Collins to the Cleve in the middle of the season last year. Pretty easy for teams to not take a chance on Kap simply because he's a potential pain the ass.

A common rhetorical trick you'll see these guys do(wil did it CONSTANTLY) was that they are so ****ing dumb they will flatly state as a truth a thing that is being criticized as a defense of that thing, they aren't smart enough to even grasp the normative/descriptive divide.
09-02-2017 , 02:48 PM
awval your parents bought their slow kid a job as a glorified pill vending machine, never ****ing imagine you're going to EDUCATE a dang libtard by pointing out that the NFL is steeped in insane jingoism like we didn't already ****ing know.

Everyone knows more than you. About everything. You voted for ****ing Trump!

With all this said, I'll take Kaep as a backup in Atlanta. I mean, if nobody else wants him. We've had a hell of a lot worse.

You mean the immigrant Budweiser commercial?

It's funny how a big corporation like Anheuser-Busch can understand what's wrong with Trump's America, but you don't.
09-02-2017 , 03:05 PM
Is it just me, or does that immigrant look like Chris Pratt?

I honestly think in Awval's world we end up with Tim Tebow playing as a starter for a major market team, and Kaepernick never seeing the light of day from a prison cell because it doesn't affect him if he is making some extra cash Daddy Trump promised.

If only more people in Houston had flood insurance, the insurance companies could declare bankruptcy, the government could bail them out and maybe some of that money could be used to repair the damage.
09-02-2017 , 03:33 PM
Only the government sells flood insurance micro.

It's the Tebow precedent. (As an aside, we're not comparing Tebow v. Kapernick in football ability).

Why would a team want to deal with all the media, drama, fans saying they aren't buying tickets, worrying about television revenue, etc., to bring in a backup quarterback?

He's just not good enough to deal with all of that.
Good time to bump this

*edit: while conservatives and Lestats may find this to be a controversial statement and not a given, I'll say this; even if you buy the conservative argument that it's not about blackballing but that teams find his behavior to be a "distraction", only in the NFL (or at least, certainly not in the NBA) would that behavior be such a "distraction"!

We know why he doesn't have a job, he's blackballed! You agree with us on that!
