There is nothing funny about making fun of a dying man who's spent his entire life serving the country to the best of his ability subject to political constraints.

I think he deserves credit for ultimately voting no. I think he voted that way precisely why he said in his speech on Tuesday, and I think he felt like he was representing the wishes of those in his state by voting no.
