Obvious troll post. Nobody hates Wegmans.
lol. Well I moved from the West Coast after 37 years so a few things.
Yes it's nice, good product and quality food. The prices are pretty high on even basic things like veggies/meat/bacon etc. I mean they want $4 for celery stalks. That's just....
The store in insanely unorganized. The water is in the opposite area of the soda/tea/water/juice. Ok? The chips are in the regular section, organic, ends of isles, random displays , in the deli, throughout the store. The key point here (they do this with MANY prodcuts) is you can't find that particular size/product in any part of the store.
For example. Large bag of simply pop. In the chip/popcorn section? Nope. In the organic chip/popcorn section? The small bag, yes. Try going by the coffee section to find the display. (Scumbag Wegmans meme?)
Low calorie/carb wraps . In the wrap section? Nope. In the "healthy" wrap section with dozens of other similar like products? Nope. Secretly hidden by the authentic food refrigerated section in a small, unassuming cubbie? Yup.
Don't even TRY finding wine by region or name. Just forget it and ask. I don't "hate" Wegman's, but it can be brutal for a get in and get out type of guy like me.
I can't believe I just put that much effort in. I keep going back so that says something. FYI, this is the one in Princeton. Others may not suffer the same fate.
