They have a plan to kill Kin Jong Un? What could it be? Bomb Pyongyang? Send special ops in to assassinate him? Use spies to poison his food?

Justice Dept going after The Situation from Jersey Shore for tax evasion.

You would think he could make a phone call to Trump and get off the hook. He did the roast with him on Comedy Central and him bombing terribly was a big reason people tuned in.

Not sure what led me to look at it, but saw about a week ago on Twitter that Angelina from Season 1 is a big Trumpkin. Given that she's a Staten Islander, this is unsurprising.

Just like taxes, personal responsibility is for the little people

It's funny...I forgot all about N Korea for like half the day because of the Syrian strike. I wonder what the **** daily news reports will look like 2 months from now.
Which of these options has a 0.0000% chance of leading to a nuke landing in Seoul?

So 6 Syrians killed, wouldn't it be cheaper just to throw a giant bags of cash on top of them?
04-07-2017 , 09:34 PM
Really - we warned the Russians and they bugged out and let 6 Syrians die? That's not going to go over well for intra-squad harmony.

61 senators sign a letter stating to keep filibuster rules

If only there was something on this you could've voted on just this week that they would've been.

Zerohedge is off the bandwagon

but they weren't gonna stay positive for too long no matter what happened probably.

Gruuuunching - I just read what Fareed Zakaria said about Trump becoming presidential and I think I'm going to vomit. "I think Donald Trump became president of the United States last night. For the first time really as president, he talked about international norms, international rules, about America’s role in enforcing justice in the world."

At best, by a long shot, the ****ing manchild president acted out of a very predictable emotional response, rendering a hasty decision completely at odds with what was his current position. That very best scenario is frightening as hell.

It's going to be hilarious when McConnell reinstitutes the SCOTUS filibuster right before the Rs lose Congress. Then tries to act like Gorsuch never happened, just like they act like Garland never happened.

In 2013, as President Obama sought congressional support for strikes against Syria in retaliation for a chemical weapons attack, he did not find takers in Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky or Representative Paul D. Ryan of Wisconsin, both Republicans.

This week, both men — now the majority leader and House speaker — gave enthusiastic support to President Trump’s missile strike on a Syrian air base for which he sought no such approvals. It demonstrates once again that even in solemn issues of war and peace, politics can shift dramatically depending on who is in the White House. Several other Republicans who were skeptical of Mr. Obama’s proposal also gave Mr. Trump’s strike a thumbs-up.

Let's not kid ourselves. Hacks like Zackaria and Brian Williams would like nothing more than to see the US get bogged down in Syria and the President be weakened because of it. Be great for their careers and probably just personally can't stand Trump either. Still no reason to be singing this BS.

Kushner is leaking on Bannon to mainstream press. Bannon is leaking on Kushner to Breitbart et al. #FireKushner and #FireBannon are both trending on Twitter and a browse through the hashtags is informative about the structural problems facing the GOP and the Trump coalition. It will be interesting to see how this develops.

ETA:

"WASHINGTON — As he grappled on Thursday with his first major decision involving military action, a fed-up and frustrated President Donald Trump turned to his two top aides and told them he had had enough of their incessant knife-fights in the media.

“Work this out,” Trump said, according to two people briefed on the exchange. The admonition was aimed at Stephen Bannon, the tempestuous chief strategist, and Reince Priebus, the mild-mannered chief of staff, over a series of dustups with Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and senior adviser, and the top economic adviser, Gary D. Cohn."

from Boston Globe: http://www.bostonglobe.com/news/nati...SDP/story.html

Without the unifying power of hatred for an Obama or Clinton style figure there is nothing that unites these people.
