Disturbing similarities in excessive use of commas and overall tone between them and some of Sklansky's recent posts.

looks like Frum had a heads up that this tweet was coming?

This is actually something people should look at. Before the election, Trump's grammar and spelling were pretty dang good considering the volume and velocity of his tweets. Both have gotten notably worse (even excluding wild outliers like covfefe)

people are saying... someone should look into it, ok?

Nice that he brought attention to his followers that his mental stability is being widely discussed.

From the day after his inauguration:

they put so much time and effort into these identical, pathetic, useless attempts to dunk on him. you can't own a man who is the president of the united states and tweets that he is a very stable genius who is, like, really smart. it's impossible. he has owned you by just existing.

it's the opposite, dude, him feeling the need to tweet "I'm like, smart" and not being able to stop himself is proof that he's been owned.

plus, **** like this is funny

The "on my first try" part isn't even true:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald...campaign,_2000

That campaign featured support for universal health care, the desire for Oprah as VP, and pretty much calling Pat Buchanan a Nazi.

I read that phrase with the tone of a ditzy, obnoxious teenage girl.

This is really good:

Quote:
Everyone around Donald Trump is too polite to Donald Trump. Democrats, foreign dignitaries, underlings… all of them. And the White House press is perhaps the worst offender. From the media pool playing along with Sarah Sanders during press conferences—conferences where Sanders openly lies and pisses on democracy—to access merchants like Maggie Haberman doling out Trump gossip like so many bread crumbs, too many reporters have been far too deferential to an administration that is brazenly racist, dysfunctional, and corrupt. And for what purpose? It’s clear to me that Haberman and the like aren’t saving up their chits for just the EXACT right time to bring this Administration down. No, the only end goal of their access is continued access, to preserve it indefinitely so that the copy spigot never gets shut off. They are abiding by traditional wink-wink understandings that have long existed between the government and the press covering it.

thanks everyone for proving my point so emphatically

you have to live in a country where this guy is your head of state and you can do nothing about it. he can rape women, engage in naked corruption, try to start nuclear wars with his internet posts, throw his support behind pedophiles, and spend all day watching TV and eating burgers. he can do anything he wants and you have to just sit there and take it. but he's the one getting owned because whenever he does these things, a bunch of talentless opportunists all make the exact same ****ty, insipid, impotent daily show jokes and act like they're winning something.

I'm not saying trump hasn't gotten his own dunks in, it's just that "i'm like, smart and stuff" isn't one of them

On the bright side, it gives you the opportunity to come in here and act like you're the one winning something. We're all just trying to keep our sanity imo.

Maybe. The danger is that a bunch of undecideds (often it's argued around here that there really aren't any of those) can't tell the difference? On the other hand, the danger of "stop with the false equivalency!" is that there is just silence or excuses when Larry Summers is back in power and if a candidate (eg Bernie) dares to suggest anything Dem sucks WaPo says you'd have to be insane to nominate him and everyone whines about purity tests.

They are all xenophobic, sexist, racist and all kinds of other deplorable things. However, they are the soul of trumps base it appears so you get a decent pulse for where this fat ass stands.

Holy **** those tweets this morning

Nice glimpse into how the people that will never abandon trump feel. this person represents the 25% deplorables that DGAF about out anything he does, as long as america is ushered back into 1955 and they get their tax cuts...

"Agreed! I’m stopped listening to BB radio. Bannon hasn’t denied the claims.
Apparently people here think he is the President or at least as powerful.
I’m sticking with Trump. I got my Tax cut. I couldn’t care less about anything else at this point. I’m over this crap.

I think the DACA people will get some sort of deal either way. Nobody is going to get a better deal than Trump.
He will hold his ground."

The African American unemployment rate fell to 6.8%, the lowest rate in 45 years. I am so happy about this News! And, in the Washington Post (of all places), headline states, “Trumps first year jobs numbers were very, very good.”

Reading the bb comments always gives me an actual physical reaction. It is similar to the frustration of trying to pull a tiny sliver out of a hard to reach place that you can't clearly see using tweezers that just won't get purchase. You can feel the end of it, you can feel the pain of it, you know it's there, you know you are close, but after 100s of attempts you are ready to just amputate the limb.
01-06-2018 , 01:23 PM

As it always was, removing DACA was an attempt to put Dreamers into a vulnerable spot so that Trump could get his political points and policy by making Dems protect Dreamers.

You're not wrong but it is cathartic to draw a mustache on the divine leader's billboard even if it's useless.

Once we start facing the real torment of the systems being put in place now I also look forward to good music again. These artists have had it too cushy too long.

Laugh to keep from crying constantly.
