Just in terms of the X's and O's of grifting, it seems like Limbaugh badly misplayed his hand. Even though his listeners are the most gullible people on the planet, they're still liable to think something is amiss when he flees town and oldsters see their neighborhood devastated.

The smart move should have been to play up how serious this **** is and hock Limbaugh-brand survival gear and rations and ****. Don't rely on the Soros Deep State FEMA to help you make it through this one, folks, buy my own personal line of fluoride-free bottled water.

Why? It's not as if any of those anti-science blowhards have a more reliable methodology for predicting the path of a storm. Half of them probably think the storm was prayed off-course.
