Doesn't Herman Cain have as much of a chance of winning the nomination as say ... Rick Santorum? wtf is the deal with him?

Yeah, the Ohio straw poll is not very famous. There is even some confusion as what that means as Romney apparently also won the "Ohio straw poll" in July.

has anyone figured out what's up with RP's eyebrow/has the campaign commented on it at all? i'm watching his speech at some Iowa event and it's really bad (his eyebrow, obviously I'm not really paying attention to what he's saying).

move along, nothing to see here.
Winning the Ohio straw poll != winning Ohio.

Winning Ohio, California, and nearly winning Iowa is irrelevant trolly?
10-22-2011 , 05:20 PM
i don't think its particularly relevant.

all we've learned is that in Ohio there are like 400 RP supporters who had nothing better to do on a saturday than waste their time at a strawpoll.

the only relevant information we get from this is the media bias, where Cain wins and its the biggest deal ever according to the MSM, Ron Paul wins and its "Cain beats Romney!"

No, but winning straw polls are of little predictive value in terms of who will win the nomination. Some of them tell us more than others...Florida was the most important so far because it was the first sign of Perry's huge drop off.

Sorry Max, I wasn't talking to you.

Yeah this is the way to handle it imo

Why is that better than just not talking about it?
10-22-2011 , 05:46 PM
cause RP is supposed to be a person of principle first of all, and secondly, it'd probably make AC happy.
10-22-2011 , 06:40 PM
lol wtf minimum 20k. max is the 1%
10-22-2011 , 06:50 PM
yes, the $20,000 minimum is definitely going to make it happen.
10-22-2011 , 07:03 PM
No matter what the amount it's probably not going to happen... might as well make it worth it. Just having to PM details with somebody sort of dim and angry has a cost, as I learned in other bets I made recently .
10-22-2011 , 07:10 PM
i'm not sure what you just said but i think it was an insult

If you look at older videos, it's always looked funny. I think he was just born with a weird eyebrow.

Wow this is aggravating. Didn't know stuff like this happened to be honest. Still seems like it is pretty rare, and more like the act of a rogue judge.

10-22-2011 , 09:21 PM

Lol really? Getting 12 years for 3 grams is totally common?

The impression I always had was that you could get caught several times and never spend a day in jail. Maybe the states i've lived in have been super lenient about this stuff unlike the draconian hell hole that oklahoma apparently is. Whereas the harder stuff was pretty much insta prison.

god damnit now you people got me looking at Ron Paul's eyebrow
