I think I should be allowed to say whatever I feel like saying at all times.

As long as it's far far away, knock yourself out.

Boycott twitter. These monopolistic companies should be boycotted just on the grounds that they're getting too big and powerful.
I don't know. MAGA idiots are targeting journalists. Not sure if that would get you a ban here but not much more could.

He also might have had other troubling tweets before that and had a history.

In a nutshell this is #bruceZ is good at math so shouldn't be banned.

I dunno, I’m pretty passionate about this issue.

Is this the thread where I complain about Michelle Wolf’s show getting canceled? My freeze peach has been greatly imperiled.

I don't know anything about the guy. That tweet was an obvious joke referring to leopards eating faces.
08-18-2018 , 03:16 PM
Actually he said it was referring to Walking Dead zombies eating peoples' faces. lol seriously

My bad zombie joke about #MAGA, or anything else I wrote that was flippant, is not writing I’m proud of.

Twitter is happy to allow calls for white genocide by New York Times editorial board member @SarahJeong, “understanding” they are not literal, while being shocked — Shocked! — to see me invoke a scene from Fear the Walking Dead.

Oh man, that's tragic because she is awesome, but here's a gem from when I googled it to learn more:

One of these is not like the other!
08-18-2018 , 04:20 PM
Well then he's dumb. Eating off faces jokes should be reserved for leopards. Zombies can have the rest of the body.

I'm just going to retreat to: everyone should quit Twitter. Though Fox and the WSJ consider Dorsey one of the worst CEOs in America, so maybe he's doing something worth supporting.

prana, you only have to put the number after /status/ in between the tweet tags.

I was sad to hear that too, not a lot of female comedians getting the spot light these days. Netflix probably isn't the venue for a weekly talkshow however so it was probably not going to last regardless.

Oh my god. This is what's so upsetting about this debate, all the Good Liberals coming in to darkly warn their leftist allies about the consequences of saying Jones is a ****ing ****head....

That has been happening! For like, 4 years! Post-Gamergate right wingers mass-reporting with screeching insincere claims of rule breaking has been an absolutely standard practice.

I know "the world" is scary and dangerous but you mother****ers have cause and effect reversed, this was US turning that back on THEM.

Also, Bill, that Van Buren guy is a ****ing white supremacist, he writes for antiwar.com, which is a paleoconservative website run by ****ing LewRockwell.com people.

Take that ****ing avatar off.

microbet any ****ing thoughts on your unbelievable willingness to grant the benefit of the doubt to middle aged white people has once again backfired?

You gonna ****ing learn your lesson this time?
08-18-2018 , 06:20 PM
Like if I didn't know anything about a guy I might like, correct that deficit, before I got to step 2: defend him.
08-18-2018 , 06:23 PM
LOL I was grunching let's see what Mommy's Good Boy has to think about ANOTHER wealthy middle aged white guy:

Dorsey is a white nationalist who follows like Mike Cernovich and **** with his personal account. You gotta be ****ing kidding me with this quisling ****

I'm aware of this, and I assume most others are too, maybe wrongly. I mean that it's accelerated sharply quite recently. @IPM_Prime got iced for basically nothing, for example, and that counter-protest group against the Charlottesville anniversary demo for literally nothing (which I think I mentioned to goofball earlier ITT, if that'll help establish my bona fides).

And now it's a cop judging whether what you said is hateful or not. The cops all want the Pakistanis to get Brexited you know?
What are you trying to say about the British police and British Pakistanis?

I'm not saying anything about British Pakistanis or anything about the British.

I know I said it as an absolute, but just generally police are nationalist/nativist/right-wing compared to the general population.

I agree that law and order is a right wing thing.

I didn't get how you linked Pakistani's with Brexit, or that the Police have anything against Pakistani's, when they are firmly on their side.
Apart from Pakistan not being in the EU!!!, it is a British commonwealth country.

My post didn't occur in a vacuum. I was responding directly to something someone else, an English dude, posted and he understood what I meant (and agreed).

Are the police too much on the Pakistanis side for you? Are they not on your side?

2) Does the 1st amendment's exclusive focus on government regulation of speech still make sense?
As the Amendments are fundamentally limitations on the powers of government, the answer is plainly "yes",

and to answer "no" to this question is to deprive the people of this limitation.
