Accountability offices fail sometimes; ergo, there should be no accountability.
01-22-2017 , 01:01 PM
i did. i'm not whining. all i said was i didn't understand why they were protesting because women are in no way oppressed in America. they have equal rights as men and are favored in many ways

See, right there you are bringing up a good point that military spending should have a better accountability system, not worse.

Btw, the hypocrite in you just said that government *SHOULD* be in charge of defense, but then went and cried how inefficient it is.
01-22-2017 , 01:01 PM
Which party wants to crank up military spending to 11 again?

Both of these sentences are easily false in many situations.

the united states is the world leader in pharmaceutical innovation, saving lives every single day and it isn't because the government can just refuse to pay towards r & d costs like the nationalized health care systems of Europe. again, they benefit from American exceptionalism. no one would even bother with innovation if you have no chance to recoup your costs and make a profit if the market demands your product

Ok sure.

Dude, you have access to the interwebs. Instead of posting here, maybe you should consider surfing out there. If I were you, and I was searching for understanding, I'd start here: https://www.womensmarch.com.

I know you feel this way, but it is false.

it says that they're mad Trump insulted them. definitely worthy of takin' it to the streets

Did it ever occur to you that saved lives are completely offset by the very pharmaceutical industry that is marketing and selling opiates like candy?

"American exceptionalism" is like the right wing version of being a special snowflake.

If you have no hope of recouping costs, but the product is important to save lives, this is precisely the instance you WANT a government social program to step in.

I mean, you didn't have to prove to us that you didn't bother googling it, but thanks. You did.

If you say so.

So, are you happy now? Now that you have an understanding of why the peeps waving signs were waving signs.

And... what's the takeaway here? The takeaway here is that if you wanna gain understanding: surfing the interwebs can work pretty well, while JAQing off on a poker site does not work at all.

i did

"The rhetoric of the past election cycle has insulted, demonized, and threatened many of us - immigrants of all statuses, Muslims and those of diverse religious faiths, people who identify as LGBTQIA, Native people, Black and Brown people, people with disabilities, survivors of sexual assault -*and our communities are hurting and scared. We are confronted with the question of how to move forward in the face of national and international concern and fear."

i mean. i was upset when Hillary called me a deplorable and when she called black kids super predators, so i voted against her. i didn't think it was necessary to take it to the streets

Pushing down pharmaceutical profits would probably push down money that goes into R&D, but of course it's not a straightforward more money = more innovation. The rate of game changing pharmaceutical innovation has slowed and a lot of "innovation" recently has been patient chasing and changing pill coatings in order to extend the patent. So it becomes a question of are we getting the most bang for our buck for letting pharmaceutical companies have exorbitant profits and possibly innovation as opposed to lower drug costs that other counties enjoy?

Nice pivot to a reverse racism claim. I see your future as a less successful Sean hannity or a more successful Alex Jones.

am i wrong? poor white people are the one identity it's okay to openly mock

We’re not just now ‘discovering’ this problem. But we should be saying enough is enough. It’s time we recognize as a nation that for too long, we have had a quiet epidemic on our hands. Plain and simple, drug and alcohol addiction is a disease, not a moral failing—and we must treat it as such.

Actually, I think he may have:

maybe she should have said something about that during the debates. all i heard was that she's not trump, it's her turn, and that trump said women let him grab their pussies because he's rich and famous 12 years ago
