The number is not known and probably not knowable, but HUDREDS OF THOUSANDS in LA. Organizers put it at 750k. LAPD says "well over 100k" and appeared to be larger than anything since a 2006 immigration march that they put at 500k. NBC is reporting the 750k.

I can't give any estimate myself, but it was very big. Whole blocks were choked with people so you literally couldn't move an inch. Several blocs and a park and a Pershing Square were set aside and blocked off and full and still at the peak surrounding blocks were full of people and cars. We twice ditched the trains because the wait looked essentially forever, once walking and once taking a circuitous bus across town.

Because that's not how it turned out?

Was in DC with my wife and toddler today marching with some friends. It was crazy how many people were there, it was hard to even guess how many. Lots of laughs were had at the sign game going on. My daughter is a. ****ing champ. barley had any problems with her and we started at 10:30 and didn't get back to our friends place till 6. Had to wait like 3 hours just to March and crazy metro crowds.

Over 100k in Seattle according to a friend while another attended one in Albany, NY that had several thousand people.

I just don't see the point. Make a map of all men and it's flipped. Make a map of all black voters and it flips again, make it of all white voters it turns again. There are many homogeneous societies out there if you'd like to live in one... not sure of the relevance of a hypothetical map if group "x" didn't exist. I know this is sore-loser butt hurt day (fwiw I didn't vote for Trump and think he will be terrible president) but please get a grip. I keep thinking this is the last hurrah and people will get over it. Is my wife going to go into a mourning period again like she did after the election? ffs i hope not.

March in DC was awesome. Great energy here, obviously, but I was thrilled to see the huge turnout numbers across the country. Makes me more confident this wasn't just a singular event to release frustration. People are fired up.
