I read an article on some right-wingers spreading a conspiracy that antifa plans to overthrow Trump on the 4th. Seems like some bad **** could go down.

Thanks. Downtown LA is very far from the battle lines, but unfortunately keeping one's mind on the possibility of a car plowing through the crowd or a shooter is advisable nowadays. At least I don't think I'll have the deer in the headlights reaction and freeze when I should get out of the way. It used to be you just worried about the police and generally they at least give you a few minutes warning before they start clubbing people.

Sadly I've advised my 17yo daughter who is up at school in the SF bay area not to go to the events up there.

I'm here and I'm the only non-branded person around. I'm carrying a book and someone asked what it was, I'm sure to try to figure out what side I'm on. It's a book on the American Revolution and I'm afraid that gave the impression I'm on the other side, but who knows.

The other thing I'm checking out is the Left Coast Forum. I may stay and listen to one talk on cooperatives. There's hardly anyone here. Both events combined amount to a few hundred people if you don't count the press and police. The local independent progressive radio station has been talking about these events for months.

So, the next Women's March is coming up. I know that a big march once a year isn't going to get rid of Trump, but I'm only one person, not one million. So, I have my spot reserved on a George Soros bus and we are talking about signs.

I'm probably not going to do this and will maybe save it for a better occasion, but my best thought so far:
