There was no violence today. There was no property damage. The anarchists and antifa and black bloc did exactly what law enforcement requested they do. Several hundred people were detained and threatened with arrest anyway.

Truth...thats not how it works in trumpland. Fair enough though I didn't watch the coverage.

These numbers look pretty damn good for The Resistance. Let's not let up the pressure, but do remember that this is a marathon not a sprint, and also remember no matter what bad **** happens, our protests, calls, votes, and organizing DO make an impact on all of this. Don't give up the fight.

There are 2 big obstacles in the future.

1) MASSIVE Russian + Trumpian disinformation campaign on the web & social media.
2) We're up to 2 candidates that have dropped out due to death threats in the last week. And the Scumkins are only getting started.

3) More detainment and possibly arrests for peaceful protesters on the left only. We saw the beginning of that this past weekend as well.

There was a small gathering of people picketing outside our courthouse today for redistricting reform, and it seems as though some of our locals are trying to organize a Tea-party style grassroots org for liberals out here in Podunk, PA.

I couldn't stay today, but I'll definitely be going to one of their meetings either next week or the end of the month.
