Investigate Trump-Flynn-Russia connections as well as Trump's conflicts of interest.

Jeff Sessions lied to the Senate on issues relating directly to matters of national security. He didn't clarify his testimony when he had weeks to do so, until reporting came out showing he had lied under oath. He must resign as Attorney General immediately. The top law enforcement officer in the country must be held to a basic standard of ethics.

The corollary to renodoc's attempted sick burn here is, 78,000 Michiganders/Wisconsinites/Pennsylvanians also = 55 votes, and he endorses that as the natural and proper state of things.

(thanks for contributing to Nevada's 6 votes, btw)

I don't get this either. 12%+ of the country lives in California, and they're already severely shorted, the individual voter's influence there equates to less political power than people in any other state as it is. It shouldn't be hard to grasp why higher pop areas warrant more votes than deserted nowheres.

Yeah apparently this was the year the Republicans realized how much they loved granting electoral power to empty space in the middle of the country.

Yeah sure not a bad idea. Any time any Republican opposes Trump we could send them some positive feedback. We need any allies we can get right now even if they're only temporary.

Here are the 4 GOP Senators opposing the bill for good reasons:

Just wanna say huge thumbs up to einbert for his/her work itt.
03-08-2017 , 11:04 AM
yep
03-08-2017 , 11:12 AM
Thanks, I appreciate that. Knowing that you guys are making phone calls, going to protests and engaging people IRL on these issues every day makes it more than worth it. Just keep mixing it up and keep #Resisting. We have some big elections coming up just around the corner too, we need to start thinking about getting people registered to vote. I think our energy is much better spent getting people who traditionally don't vote to the polls rather than convincing Republican voters to vote Democrat.
03-08-2017 , 11:49 AM
yea voter apathy is just a big problem and it needs to be confronted by making apathetic non/protest-voters aware of how their lives will be negatively impacted by republican platforms on basically every issue. which means you gotta talk to people. i dont even bother engaging trump supporters anymore, i've never seen a group of individuals who were such a lost cause on standards of ethics and critical thinking, it's just ****ing pointless
03-08-2017 , 11:50 AM
Yeah a lot of them really do know they're spewing BS at this point. Don't waste your time in prolonged engagements with these people.

Rocked a solid red shirt today for International Women's Day; wife took off and went to Washington Square Park for a march.
