That is why there is no advantage covering up details.

Also if you dont think Rice and the administration lied what are you even raging against?
Republicans have said that a terrorist attack would have run counter to obamas pre-election narrative insinuating they (republicans) might have used that as a counter strategy against obama. Maybe obama realized that, and became biased toward the politically safer option of spontaneous attack as a hedge against potential political attack. Who knows. Still tho, it would be a more palatable explanation than, duhhh we thought it was due to the video even tho it was on 911, heavy weapons were used, they blew up a consulate, and there were no protests actually.

Can you rephrase this in English?

WTF are you talking about, there were protests, the attackers took advantage of those protests as a smoke screen (no pun).

Also having heavy weapons in Benghazi isnt like if someone used heavy weapons in Detroit.

Prolly closer than you think

I was going for a Robocop reference as it was on my mind from something referencing it which I saw late last night (one of several podcasts, vidcasts or series I was watching).

Thinking about it more, Detroit really does seem to be spiralling towards that movie, the next step is Omnicorp buying the rights to the city from the state governor who passed a law to overrule democratically elected officials in emergency situations, then outsource all the car industry to Mexico or China.

Also my point has never been that rice lied. People just assume I think that since I've been critical in general--durrrrrr

Also i haven't thought about the cia thing, but of course it would advantageous, between a terrorist event, and a random one, that it be the random and uncontrollable one. Not that the threat of terrorism can ever be controlled, but I digress.
Beyond all the other silly things you are saying, that you keep claiming that an act of terrorism was the worst outcome for the administration so they covered it up is by far the dumbest. It is completely illogical and without merit.

Jay Carney: You can make suppositions, but we prefer to have an in depth investigation, that assembles the facts, and then presents them (30+ seconds into Carney video).

So on one hand, Carney and the White House want to be conservative about releasing unsubstantiated facts, but on the other hand they whole-heartedly and hastily endorse the random uprising theory--which turns out to be wildly wrong!

Think about that. They preach about not wanting to hastily release facts, but then infuse a narrative into the public mind, doing exactly that, that turns out to be wildly offbase and coincidentally is the lesser of two evils, politically.

It doesn't add up, therefore, 'probably something more' is what I'm arguing.

That symbol above the number 2, that is a quote symbol, it can be activated using the shift key and it looks like this: "

You are allowed to use it when you want to show he whole heartedly and hastily endorsed something.

Is switching to Jay Carney one of those shuck and jive type manuevers?

Obama didn't use a terrorist attack for political gain and as a result is bad for not using a terrorist attack for politcal gain?

Lets just call it an opiniongate. There are the facts and there are Fox News/zzzzed/John McCains' etc. opinions. The two things are divorced.

It's an obvious move- Crying political game for political gain. Seems kinda played-out, stale; weak.

Obama waffelcrushed the EV and the popular vote. Latest estimate is that he won by like 4 million. You clearly do not obtain news from any fair and balanced source.

Here's what Susan Rice said. Try to match this with your outrage.

Quote:
MS. RICE: Well, Jake, first of all, it’s important to know that there’s an FBI investigation that has begun and will take some time to be completed. That will tell us with certainty what transpired.

But our current best assessment, based on the information that we have at present, is that, in fact, what this began as, it was a spontaneous — not a premeditated — response to what had transpired in Cairo. In Cairo, as you know, a few hours earlier, there was a violent protest that was undertaken in reaction to this very offensive video that was disseminated.

We believe that folks in Benghazi, a small number of people came to the embassy to — or to the consulate, rather, to replicate the sort of challenge that was posed in Cairo. And then as that unfolded, it seems to have been hijacked, let us say, by some individual clusters of extremists who came with heavier weapons, weapons that as you know in — in the wake of the revolution in Libya are — are quite common and accessible. And it then evolved from there.
- We are still investigating
- It started with a small protest in response to Cairo
- It was hijacked by extremists with heavy weapons

Really, what kind of mental gymnastics does it take to twist this into some conspiracy? She is saying right there that it was extremists with heavy weapons that attacked the consulate.

All you have to do is study it out. Just study it out. And you’ll see. You haven’t done your homework, buddy.
