Meh, cheap price for the press coverage it would have generated.

A pretty negligible use of money. I mean flying a NYC congresswoman to learn about KY, or flying a KY congressman to learn about NYC. That is expenses that should be used. (at least in theory, in practice we all know this is for show)

Exactly. She pretty much knew there was a very low chance he'd accept the offer anyway so it was pretty much a win win.

I appreciate her fervour but the constant twitting is really putting me off.
I wish twitter didn't exist.
This feels like shoved ads and I have a really bad reaction to these.
Not everyone spams tweets so it's not proven it's a winning strategy (trump and AoC are the primary exemples, then the likes of avenatti and the kardashians.).
Is it possible things calm down after trump is gone or are we doomed to endure tweets spams till we vomit?

You don't have to follow her Twitter or this thread...

Other Congresspeople Tweet as well. But often times they aren't interesting, so I don't follow Steny Hoyer or Jeb Hensarling on Twitter.

They aren't inescapable public addresses, they're her tweets. You can ignore them if you want.

I think we’re going to see a lot of annoying AOC-wannabes who think you can just tweet a lot and not put in the ground work, and it just doesn’t work like that.

Nit: I think it's just one win. And AOC was always going to win. She'd have had a town hall full of coal miners cheering her.

I dont like it either. But it is a good work around for progressives to get their message out who wont get coverage from the traditional media.

Must be AOCs first encounter with a Kentuckian; they're happy to let to world burn so long as "their" team adds another trophy to the case.

In other words, the hype, hysteria and spectacularly wrong apocalyptic predictions will continue, promoted by the virtue signalling “environmental grievance hustlers” like AOC.
CAP partnered with these guys. They were at the introductory session for Freshman lawmakers
