liberals ****ing hate her lol. she is a leftist and a socialist. those are good things that should be celebrated, not scary words we have to misrepresent her ideology to avoid.

Her instagram live cooking sessions are insanely great politics. For zero dollars, doing something that makes her seem approachable, she consistently gets a news cycle out of engaging with regular people about policy.

She is going to be President one day, if we still elect Presidents by the time she turns 35.

but.....but.... she said "chambers of government", not branches of government... while she was doing two other things at the same time..

It's 100% a lizard brain reaction. Young, attractive, female socialist is clicking all the right buttons. And it'll work on the base, at least.

Have politicians never done anything like instagram or twitch before?

A lot of pro-choice/pro-life debates; antifa vs. fascists; Trump vs. the media (not really the same since the media are not on the political left, but it's a similar dynamic).

Arguably a lot of the dysfunction of American democracy is that it was built to accommodate two big centrally controlled parties fighting each other, but we now have a bunch of political factions that are simultaneously fighting each other for control of their parties while also competing across the aisle to win elections.
Are you radical centrist both sidesing over the woman who advocates for policies every other civilized country on earth has?

Carter used to livestream some of his Doom deathmatches back in the day IIRC.

Cons strategy of taking the most relatable democrat since Arsenio Hall Show Bil Clinton (and most attractive since JFK), making sure every one knows about her and see lots of pics of her, giving lots of publicity to her crazy socialist platform that benefits 90% of the country, and constantly setting her up to own them is like something out of the Libs playbook.

Maybe, but I can't say for sure because I have no idea what you're saying. Kind of reads like you just strung together four or five cliches that don't really mean anything together.

She gets eyeballs and clicks, that's the strategy. Fox knows their ratings every minute. Websites know the clicks on each article. Maximize eyeballs and clicks. It's a good business strategy, at least in the short term. (And 95% of business strategies are short-term.)

And Fox News' interests are not perfectly aligned with the Republican party's. Maybe the Republican party would prefer to hammer on Pelosi forever but the conservative media can't help themselves but chasing the hot story even if long term it's detrimental to political interests.

Taking creepshots of AOC in the hallway and having Tucker screech about her making avocado toast or whatever on Twitch isn’t a good long-term strategy, but it sure beats having to talk about policy.
