I think it's pretty good politics to point out how absurd it is that members of Congress can basically insider trade all they want, it shows they aren't in touch with the people they represent which is kind of AOC's thing

Out of context or not, she sounds like she's complaining about $170k salary and $1.2 million base payroll.

I actually think the complaint about the payroll is justified but it's still not a good look.

The $100 gift card thing also just seems... weird. Most professions have rules against exactly that.

Just stay focused. We're not even supposed to accept gift cards or crash on someone else's couch but legal insider trading is somehow okay.
