Could not agree more.

I know what the double slit experiment is (not that it's relevant to the issue) and am very much on board with nuclear. If solar and wind are better, that's fine, build solar or wind. In the meantime, we should probably build 50 cookie cutter nuclear plants and overcome the political problem of waste disposal. Hell, nuclear is not even that tough of an issue technically, politically, or legally. Pay OK or TX to store waste if NV doesn't want it.

One problem with having Trump and the idiot republicans in power is the opportunity cost of being able to do actual things instead of engaging in grifting and performative racism.

Does anyone in SMP actually know what the double-slit experiment is?

AOC's tweets about ancestry are so much better than the way Warren handled all of that.

Those two sentences do not go together. If you don't know if solar and wind are better, why would you suggest that we build 50 nuclear power plants? And if you don't know the cost of a solar panel this year, and not three years ago, you should not reach a conclusion on this even if you do know the double slit experiment. A lot of people seem to think that if they are at all anti-nuclear someone is going to take away their very serious person card. Well I guess they're right about that.

And probably 90% of the people in politics know what the double slit experiment is. It's not a big accomplishment to know it. Most of us probably knew it when we were 17 years old.

Isn’t this like in standard High School level physics courses? I remember it from then.

I don't think it was covered in AP Physics in high school but it's very cool so if you have a good teacher they are likely to talk about it. And if you have the slightest interest outside school and even read Scientific American articles or something it will get mentioned.

AP Physics 2 should cover the double slit. Some high schools offer a course covering topics normally discussed in a 3rd semester of introductory college physics or in a modern physics course.

Spoken like a true SMPer

Now what's your view on nuclear?

In a sane world any Trump supporter trying to smear another politician by calling them stupid would be immediately struck by lightning.

My High School didn’t offer AP Physics, it was just normal physics, and my teacher definitely covered it. Then again I remember he was pretty cool.

I'm pretty sure I didn't cover the double slit until my second semester in college.
