Have no opinion regarding these protests at his house but it is laughably and demonstrably false to claim that Tucker Swanson McNear Carlson is not a violent thug.
11-08-2018 , 07:43 PM
Yeah, so the issue isn’t whether Tucker is right or wrong here. The issue is whether it’s ok to threaten someone’s wife and children if they believe something you do not.

It’s on Carlson to make arrangements so that his family is safe from collateral damage.

Or shooting them in a baseball field. Yes, all wrong things.

FYP. Please stop downplaying and putting a bow tie on the violent actions that Tucker directs. I wouldn’t threaten the wife and kids of a child molester so I agree with you on that narrow point, to the extent it happened intentionally.

What did Tucker direct?

Pwn,

Are you an anarchist? Genuine question

No.

Obviously, sometimes you are in favor of "threatening someone’s wife and children if they believe something you do not". And... sometimes you are not. Which is ok, I guess. But it certainly seems inconsistent to say the least.

Do you have some underlying principle that reconciles this seeming inconsistency?

One of the things that helps me sleep well at night is knowing that I don't have to straight-up lie about stuff like this.

The landlord/tenant relationship isn’t a matter of beliefs it’s a matter of laws. Both parties enter into an agreement. There’s nothing inconsistent with believing that laws and property rights should be enforced and believing that threatening violence towards an individual and their family for that individuals beliefs is morally reprehensible.

Laws that monied interests have set up to benefit monied interests, and that people who disagree can only choose conformance or homelessness. Man what a voluntary transaction!

Peeps peacefully hanging out with signs is certainly much less reprehensible than than the overt threats made on a woman and her children by antifa thugs but I’m not super thrilled about it.

Who could have thought that riling up the populace might have blow-back? Shocking. Hope for his sake he gets a suspicious (inert obviously) package sent also - then at least he and other commentators can play the both sides are just as bad card for the next decade.

I'm conflicted about this Tucker thing. On the one hand, I relish the idea of him burning in hell for all eternity. On the other hand, I'm an atheist.
