you've got to understand that guys like trump and cruz have no intentions of building a wall- it's just a prop used to gain political power, and 2-year republican control of all 3 branches of government proves this. the lone prototype walls on the border perfectly illustrate trump's well-known grift in action: sell superficial success for a quick return, similar to his routine with trump university, except a cash return is instead replaced with fear. scaring vulnerable americans into believing immigrants are a greater threat to the country than say automation or artificial intelligence is the sole purpose behind the idea of the wall.
