Oh yeah legalized sports betting will cause another great depression. Man Britian's economy must be worse than most 3rd world countries based on that logic

Most of it would go away if probability wasn't given short shrift in schools.

Maybe so. Except the same trait resides in way more than half of those who vote Democratic.

If you're ever doing trivia in Eastern Europe, a fairly common question is why does Jaromir Jagr wear 68 on his jersey?

just saw a guy wearing a sandwich board that read: "DEFEND DONALD TRUMP FROM FBI COUP" handing out flyers to people in cars at an intersection

3 years ago no one would have believed that the crazy people with signs that had Obama in a Nazi uniform would be running the country.

I grew up in Pittsburgh when Jagr was a superstar, we had a motivational speaker come to our school and give a speech called "what is your 68?" (as a proxy for "what motivates you?").

North Korea cancels meeting with South Korea, threatens to cancel meeting with Trump.

CNN can't figure out why Kim would give Trump a little headfake here. Admiral Kirby: "It doesn't make sense." Journalist from S Korea: "Surprising."

Oh crap, the crazy is beginning...

I'm sure the President will deliver a calm carefully prepared statement later today and not just go on a ludicrous Twitter rant.

HE SEEMED SO RATIONAL BEFORE THIS VERY MOMENT

Man, I always liked Mike Leach.

He just liked a Tucker Carlson tweet.

Maybe not appropriate for the Trump thread, but it is vomit-inducing enough to be put here.

Stop denigrating Trump's accomplishments libtards. He figured out North Korea where everyone before him failed. Time to move on and accept that he's a pretty good president after all.

The figuring out part is done and in the books. Like Steve Young cryingly clutching his Superbowl trophy - NO ONE CAN TAKE IT AWAY! NO ONE! NEVER!

If we wind up at war with N. Korea that's a completely separate and unrelated new development which Trump has nothing to do with, and probably Obama's fault for leaving the mess for Trump to clean up. This would be obvious to you if you weren't so partisan blinded.

In the least surprising news ever...

Let’s see how idiot reacts. He has been minding his p’s and q’s with North Korea thinking that’s how he must play the game but he has no comprehension of the game he is playing.

Between the two most likely outcomes of nothing changes, Trump looks like a bigger buffoon and Trump makes a horrible deal, I will take the former.
