I get the concern, but it feels like the country has already realigned. The 2012 GOP autopsy warned that the Republicans would be painting themselves into a corner if they did not change their strategy. They kind of did, thanks in part to Bannon, by going white working class "populist"--with Hillary Clinton as the perfect non-populist, corporate lawyer foil--but that's a temporary solution in the extreme. They are increasingly less popular with every expanding demographic group, and Trump has proven to be kryptonite for moderates and has turned on millions of disengaged Americans--to vote against him. I think it's definitely realignment time and that Trump will run the GOP car until it's out of gas or he has blown the transmission.

I get that it's great that people are going to call bull**** on Trump for the stupid things he does ESPECIALLY from his own party. But at the same time after reading this article I questioned some of the points in there.

Has Trump been bashing those reporters ? Or has he kinda just been ragging on the media people who just kinda suck and should be ragged on. I mean if a little honesty is deserved liberal and conservative media is at it's suckiest point in human history as far as unbiased (just what's the truth) reporting goes.

I feel like you cannot find a single source of media without personal political bias in it.

I mean it does not matter anymore there is no such thing as actual factual reporting without some liberal or conservative bias that will in some way hurt someone or ensure monetary gain goes to someone.

I'm not defending Trump so much as I just think this article on Flake sucks... Bad reporting I think is a genuine problem right now in this Country...maybe everywhere.

Does Trump actually hurt the cause right now for people who just want somewhere where we can read factual information without bias ? Now when a news article is blatant bias or lies and someone yells "well that story is bull****" everyone is so desensitized to this **** that no one cares...

I just think it's a case of everyone is so protective of their own self interests that the media situation in this country will only continue to get worse before it gets better (if ever)

-Trumps attacks on people he feels have slighted him is stupid
-Flakes comparing trumps attacks on people who have slighted him to Stalin is pretty stupid
-The media attacking anyone not in their little political sect instead of just reporting the news is probably the most stupid and worst thing for this country right now.

Trump, flake, liberals, conservatives, congress, TV news, internet news just all suck right now..

It's really depressing to be alive in what's supposed to be "The best of times" can't go anywhere or do anything without people arguing about this ****... can't watch football, without flag talk, can't have dinner without political ****. Politics really sucks right now

Well, if you remember that most of what the MSM tells you is true and most of what the conservative media and conservatives say is factually incorrect you’ll feel much better.

You have to believe in the checks and balances that prevent that from happening otherwise there is no reason for even having a constitution
