Peru is a thought. Googling it, it doesn't seem that hard to get a work visa. I think many countries accept skilled workers and I think I have some skills that might be commonly in demand.

There will probably be a lot of construction work available in South Korea, but I'm not sure they'll be too friendly to Americans. I'll have to pass as Canadian.

It's certainly possible to emigrate to all sorts of places, but there are definitely hoops to jump through and qualifications to be met. And if Trump does start a full-on shootin' war, you'll have a lot of competition from like-minded people for limited slots in countries that have become much less welcoming to Americans. In practical, real world terms, very few people will be able to leave this country.

Ireland has a relatively painless critical skills work permit programme, depending on your demonstrable qualifications/experience. Your dependents can come too, and your spouse or partner can apply for a non-qualification-dependent work permit after you secure yours. After two years, you can apply for functionally permanent resident status, allowing you to work with no restrictions. Three years after that, you can apply to become an Irish citizen (you are not required to renounce your birth citizenship).

re: The Presidency of Donald J. Trump (aka David Dennison)
microbet, you could consider submitting an Expression of Interest for a Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188) visa to Australia. The way this works is that you submit this expression of interest to one or more state governments and if a government is interested (because their state needs more of that sort of business), they can invite you to submit a formal application to start a business in Australia. You have to have documented history of running a business elsewhere, of course. I have no clue whether your line of work is something any state is short of, but if you're interested you could make some informal inquiries to see whether it's a shot prior to sinking time into an expression of interest. The application process is LONG (around 18 months start to finish).
The more usual way to obtain a working visa in Australia is the Temporary Work (Skilled) visa (subclass 457), which requires an employer to sponsor you to come to Australia. Having an occupation on the list of eligible occupations is not essential to get this visa, but it does help a hell of a lot and it is essential if you want to transition later to seeking permanency.
Also, if your concern is avoiding more wars started by the US, then obviously Australia will also be involved in those wars.

You are already to the point where you are wrong, and you still phrase it as a hypothetical and put air quotes around it.

I started proof of Canadian citizenship for my kids before the inauguration. There were two other families doing the same while I was at the consulate.

Why did you choose to ignore the following things when voting:
Clearly incapable of foreign relations as doesn’t have a clue about diplomacy.
Financially incompetent. Has no understanding of government tax collection, tax rates and budgets.
Clearly did not understand ANY issue related to Healthcare.
Demonstrated time and time again that he was both a misogynist and racist.
And to be honest that is just a starter list that was known by anyone who paid any attention at all.
So I ask you to explain how you managed to decide none of these problems alone or combed were enough to not vote for him. It is great that you might be having misgivings now. However it still doesn’t say much for you that you will feel validated in your vote if you get a mediocre tax cut.
Before the election it literally made no difference who ran against Trump. Trump’s history and well known short comings made it impossible to vote for him with a clear conscious. In fact he was so bad that anything than actively working to defeat him was a failure.

It's because he only cares about himself. It's hard to begrudge anyone for that. You got one life to live. Live it how the **** you want and not for people who are going to call you out because they are upset with the decisions you made for yourself.
