Maybe my pony has been blown up... but this is depressing.

NK be like. We will just make a big show of blowing up our already destroyed nuclear site. Trump and his supporters are too dumb and/or dishonest to care and will claim victory

Owning sports franchises is very enticing to *******s. There are a few exceptions, but not many.

Holy **** guys this isn't just a typical drooling MAGA chud here, what we got here is a ****ing #QAnon follower. A "distraction"?!?!?!

Yeah, Gramps, ole Bob Mueller is just lulling Hillary into a sense of complacency by having multiple team Trump people ALREADY PLEAD GUILTY, he's gonna lock her up for imaginary crimes any day down when the horrifying legal power of the INSPECTOR GENERAL.

It took over 100k posts as a preamble but Gramps has cracked this whole thing wide open.

I refuse to watch the NFL again until they take steps to protect the players better. The potential for someone to get seriously injured is just too great until refs start carrying guns.
05-24-2018 , 08:44 AM
i still have no ****ing idea what QAnon, horowitz/huber, or gramps' point/suggestion that he's trying to make is. sounds like some right wing derp and i refuse to give it any clicks.

can somebody connect the dots here for a layman?

Welcome to the club. I've slowly been withdrawing my viewership since the concussion scandal, and aside from the super bowl didn't watch a minute last year. My guess is I won't watch that this year either.

I encourage others to do the same.

The NFL is terrible and Roger Goodell is everything wrong with America (mediocre, privileged white kid fails upward and makes $50 million a year on the backs of underpaid black labor literally killing themselves). I'm still gonna watch, just like I'm going to keep eating Chick Fil A. I'm just not a good enough person.
05-24-2018 , 09:13 AM
Does the NFL not have a marketing department to tell these owners this will turn off everyone who isn’t a 70+ year-old white guy? I know putting uppity negros in their place is great fun, but man they are lighting money on fire.
05-24-2018 , 09:17 AM
Try telling the racist boss at your job to be less racist, see how it turns out. NFL owners are like 26 deplorables, 5 widows who couldn't name the capital of the state they live in, and Kahn.

You guys should switch to Rugby Rugby. If you watch rugby sevens, then USA number 1 are actually pretty good.

They had their own concussion issues, but have really worked hard to fix it in recent years

LOL who wrote this? Trump himself? ****ing ridiculous.

I fantasize about a world where the media doesn't blindly trumpet each obviously fraudulent Trump "achievement."

I've cut back on most sports that are synonymous with head injuries, including football and wrestling. Hockey has been tougher for me to quit, but I feel the league has really made a concerted effort to curb the concussion issue there. Plus it never feels like they outright scumily lied to their players about the risks like the NFL did.

Thing have changed since CTE came to light. I used to love a good big hit in the NHL. Stevens lighting up Lindross was the height of entertainment to me (hence the 04 in my sn) but now I look back on it and cringe and feel bad that Lindross almost certainly suffers from CTE. That's not fun. It's not entertainment. CTE is devastating and can literally turn a normal person into something monstrous, unrecognized by their family.

I don't fault people who continue to enjoy the sports that perpetuate it, I just can't personally get my conscience around it.

NK summit canceled - not even mentioned on Chiefsplanet yet. That huge win is chalked up and in the books boys. Get over it snowflakes. Moving on...
