The House investigation committee into Russia had been, but standing Congressional committees can "investigate" just anything they want. The reasons they give don't make a lot of sense outside of the right wing derposphere because they're whipped up a whole worldview were Comey, Rosenstein, etc are lawless vigilantes blatantly using their DOJ powers to harass and intimidate Republicans.

Here's one reason, but it doesn't make sense because Comey only testified and has talked about the unclassified memos, but Republicans want them all. Also Comey talking about them doesn't mean everyone gets to see them and there's obvious reasons why Congress shouldn't be meddling in DOJ investigations, but of course, to Republicans, these aren't real DOJ investigations.

Quote:
Republicans have complained that access to the memos for lawmakers has been limited even though Comey testified about the memos to Congress last year and has discussed some of their contents during an ongoing national publicity tour for his new book.

"There's an urgency there since Jim Comey's out there talking about the memos," said Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-Texas), a member of the Judiciary Committee.

From his latest TV appearance, it seems like Avenatti's motivation in the Stormy Daniels case is to go after Trump and always has been. He said he's going to depose Trump himself and he thinks he'd be at least Mueller's equal when it comes to questioning Trump. He also said Trump doesn't finish his first term.

Qaddafi never had nukes, but gave up the program to get them. South Africa is the only country to really give up possession and control of nuclear weapons. The former Soviet republics gave up possession, but never really had control.

Say hello to the newest member of Trump's legal team dealing with the Russia investigation:

"Has any doctor ever heard of this? No of course not. So they don't believe me and just want to prescribe antibiotics and then probe with things."

If we can't probe things, where's the fun in being a doctor? I'd guess he was treating you for a possible chronic prostatitis, or flailing away at a presumptive diagnosis of interstitial cystitis, which is much more common in women and is very poorly understood. Wasn't that unreasonable in terms of the prostatitis - it's a low grade, smouldering infection that doesn't make you sick, just miserable. They should have been able to diagnose interstitial cystitis on what I assume was you previous bladder biopsy (plumber's snake adventure) - but I dunno how often the diagnosis is missed on tissue samples.

North Korea drops withdrawal of US forces as condition of denuclearization, Moon says.

I'm still very skeptical obviously, but if this plays out with a serious resolution that would be awesome. But the win it'd get Trump would also be terrible. It would be huge. Possibly 2nd term huge, power to fire rossenstein/mueller huge.

bleh.
There's no way NoKo is gonna allow the UN into the country to make sure nukes aren't being developed. This of course won't stop the turd from taking credit.

Gj giving this guy a $500k gofundme, money well spent.

Avenatti knows what's up. He wants to go down in history as the lawyer that took a POTUS down.

"Although a friend of mine is a physician and he just had to treat a nasty case of Fournier's gangrene."

One of the few diagnoses you can make from the hallway - nothing else smells like it.

"Currently taking 2 antibiotics for a 2 year sinus infection. Specialist told me it probably wouldn't work, but he needed.to cover his ass so insurance wouldn't deny the minor surgery he thinks will work"

Pretty common - the insurers would rather shell out $20 or so for a two week course of antibiotics - if it works .5% of the time, they're still miles ahead since the surgery probably runs 4K or so. Lots of stuff in medicine is like that - at least once a week I have to explain to someone that I'm not ordering an MRI on their tweeked knee to look for a torn meniscus, even though I'm pretty sure they have one - it won't be covered on the initial visit and they'll end up eating the $4000 bill.

“I said, ‘Do you have nukes?’ And he said, ‘No, I do not. Absolutely not.’ I then asked him a second time in a totally different way. He said absolutely not.” You can trust Trump to soul read KJU no problem.

I will repeat a prediction that I made a few months ago. NK will essentially admit that they have no chance in a war against the US no matter how many nukes they have. On the other hand even the threat of one bomb falling on one American city is enough to prevent our pursuing any possible strategy to get rid of Kim. Because if we did he would try to use it. Thus I predict that the ultimate agreement is that we tolerate them having a handfull of nukes while getting rid of the rest.

Dunno if your subconscious did this to you or not, but $20 is exactly .5% of $4000.

Yeah the light wood really throws me off. Totally kills my romanticized notion of a courtroom, and then the overall orientation and size of the L.A. one is so weird. The design recipe is something like 2 parts IKEA, 1 part Italian marble.

Rudy is already a joke, but how do these semi respectable GOP slappy types never learn that associating in any way with trump is 100% guaranteed to end in some form of humiliation?

Because they mostly pay attention do the troposphere, where the humiliation doesn't happen.

let me rephrase that same thing you just said but in a way that doesn't praise trump: kim will likely agree to get rid of SOME of his nukes, in return for being allowed to continue being dictator-for-life of the world's largest concentration camp #dealofthecentury #onlytrumpcouldmakethisdeal #deal #deals
