can someone explain to me why chemical weapons are so bad compared to nukes and guns?
why is it that we cant use them but nuking or bombarding is ok?
04-04-2017 , 07:17 PM
We can't nuke people either, and bombing people gets us into all kinds of trouble as well. Gas is bad because of how horrific the results are against civilians.
04-04-2017 , 07:17 PM
Nuking is ok?

We'll have some chance to see what the Trump administration's reaction is when the UN tries once again to sanction Syria and Russia vetoes. Will Trumpanov even vote for the sanctions against the wishes of his mancrush?

Let's book BS saying Obama is a weak pussy for not using military force after Assad crossed the red line. He crossed it now. So if Trump doesn't use military force now, BS will be back within the next few weeks to tell us what a weak pussy Trump is, right?

Trump cut $32 million from a key human aid part of the U.N. because he claims that the U.N. is helping fund China's one-child policy. The U.N. says that's not true, and Trump as usual has not produced any evidence for his claim.

I think its fair to say that Bernie got exactly the supporters he deserved based on the campaign he ran.

I seem to remember that happening with something else before.
Like interviewing Romney for SoS.

he is the spitting image of jack nicholson's joker ****ing hatching an evil scheme in that picture

Yea. I mean talking about how Obama didn't put his money where his mouth was is fair game. The problem is the implication is that Trump will, and mostly likely we know he won't, because, like all the options Obama faced, they're all bad options.

Amusing that interviewing Romney for SoS is a "liberal sounding idea" now.

Exactly. Syria is one of the few issues where I won't give Trump a hard time unless he completely ***** it up*. It's just such a terrible situation. But I want to see BS show even one shred of intellectual integrity if he's throwing out criticism of Obama where in all likelihood Trump is going to do the same thing.

* (although, one thing we can definitely do that we definitely won't do under the Trump admin is take in more refugees)

Well, people decided after WWI that large scale chemical warfare may not be a good idea after all. And that taboo was mostly respected even throughout WW2.

russia meddling in the elections is the reason so many people didn't vote. kellyanne conway supplied russian agents with sophisticated polling data and the campaign worked closely with agents of russia to coordinate russia's cyberweapon against specific targets within the usa

In March America killed more civilians in Syria than Isis or Russia, so Trump is doing something. They were blown to pieces with conventional bombs and buried in piles of rubble instead of killed with chemicals.

Trump doesn't know where his red line is because Putin hadn't told him yet

Obama's red-line was crossed years ago, so is meaningless now.

But if Trump issues the same ultimatum as Obama did and then backs down, I will call him that right here in capital letters if you like.

It's not the military force that they're hung up on, it's that Obama drew a line in the sand then blinked when it was crossed, which obviously makes him weak and feckless.

Trump would never draw a line, which somehow makes him strong.

So knowing Obama didn't do anything, why did Trump go to the golf course 14 times in his first 2 months instead of stopping Assad? Trump had ample opportunity to stop Assad, but did nothing.

Oh so it's the unfulfilled threat aspect that makes him a pussy? Got it. So when Mexico doesn't pay for the wall, when China does not have 45% tariffs placed on its goods, when Iranians mock US soldiers without getting bombed, etc etc etc, then you'll be here to tell us what a weak pussy Trump is? Okay. You can start now.

Right and Russians WILL meddle in 2018 and 2020. People need to be prepared. In fact expect them to "turn it up to 11" as the legendary Spinal Tap would have put it.

Lol. Now I'm personally responsible for the latest gas attack apparently.
