The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

For everything about Obama's "weakness", didn't his posturing toward potential airstrikes on Syria in 2013 lead to Syria making an agreement with the US and Russia to turn over their chemical weapons?

Kinda seems like Syria and their Russian friends have calculated that the new administration is utterly impotent and they don't need to pretend to abide by such agreements anymore.

Yep. Thats exactly it goofy.

The can do what they want and Trump will just sit there with a dumb look on his face.

Syria is like the perfect political issue for the right. All options suck, so they just wait for a Democrat to do something then say it was a horrible move. See also, Health Care.

That's what I thought too. But it's been pointed out to me on FB that the chemical attacks never really stopped (some by the other side). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Use_of...rian_civil_war

Another way of calling out whataboutism that might be easier to respond with in an argument is this: "If it was wrong when Obama did X, isn't it wrong now that Trump is doing X?"

Yes. It is still true. Focus should be on attracting Democrats who are largely sympathetic to Democratic ideals but didn't vote rather than re-litigating Russian meddling. You meant it sarcastically but I maintain it's a good bit of wisdom, yes.

O'reilly is a bad human being by any objective measure, but if he loses his job they probably replace him with the Duck Dynasty guy.

Holy ****, congressman on CNN straight says if I was a betting man I'd bet people are going to jail or something along those lines. Driving and listening on xm. If someone else heard that post a link. Wolf was shocked. I'm sure it will be viral later today

In regards to trump russia investigation

everyone's favorite wikileaks chatter roger stone now claiming kushner's leaking anti bannon things to scarbarough of msnbc.

New version of Trumpcare has no support outside of House Freedom (which still hasn't committed themselves lol) so it's even more DOA than last go around.

And Trump is still not doing anything as we speak. And he's not going to do anything. Because he isn't capable of doing anything. About anything. Ever.

In other news, it was funny about Page getting accidentally recruited by Russian intelligence and Kushner holding that meeting with the ex-FSB Putin-appointed chairman of that dodgy Russian government-front bank and not telling anyone, wasn't it? Oh, and the Seychelles thing, obviously.

Well, yes actually.

He had a chance to stop it before Russia got heavily involved but his weak-kneed response to Assad crossing his "red-line" just emboldened Assad to carry on doing whatever he likes.

And no, the gas attacks didn't stop after Assad "turned over" his supplies.

Some will go to jail
04-04-2017 , 05:37 PM
Everything is Obama's fault, nothing is 45*'s responsibility. I think we're beginning to see the theme of his presidency. Besides lies and corruption, of course.

Congressman Castro it was. He thinks multiple people to jail. Said it so matter of factly
04-04-2017 , 05:40 PM
The other Castro bro said it.

I'll believe it when I see it. Half the country is more concerned with Susan Rice.

Maybe the mid-terms if they're really vigilant. But it's all these local elections that people need to care about and EVEN RUN themselves if they can. I'm talking right down to the local school boards.

If people like Fly really care about racism and equality I'd expect them to at least be trying to run for some local office where he might do some good, instead of patting himself on the back for going online and calling people names so he can feel "holier than thou" and absolve himself of his white guilt.

1) Keep my name out of your mouth.

2) You can't ****ing tut-tut about how I'm only doing online activism(p.s. you don't know me, shut the **** up) when you aren't even doing that. You are, in fact, also posting, but you're posting racist bull**** about how Democrats don't help blacks to keep them poor and Donald Trump is a rich guy who cares about the common man.

3) One thing I did that you didn't is vote for Hillary.
