Trump was trying going to deport two Indian doctors for no reason. They were originally going to be deported within 24 hours with dozens of surgeries scheduled that day. They've gotten a temporary stay to sort out their paperwork. Hopefully they can start a big enough ruckus that they get one of those "case by case basis" incidents that let them stay.

Love it or leave it brownie.

Also, pretty sure I'm being targeted by bots or something.

Posted a long rambling anti Trump rant on Facebook and instantly got a comment from a account in Arabic who I am not friends with and their comment shows up light grey like it's not really there.

Takei running for Congress is kinda awesome but I have to wonder about the wisdom of a gay Hollywood actor trying to win in the Central Valley.

Haven't we long since dispelled the notion that poker players are necessarily good at math?

Takei don't care. At least he's putting his hat in the ring. The dude is almost 80 years old. At the very least, it's another thorn in the side that the GOP has to worry about.

If by "worry about," you mean laugh at and use as a talking point against the Dems, then I agree.

Yeah there's no downside here. He doesn't have to win. But the Dems need to COMPETE far more than they do.

Yes, I realize that at $75,901 it's only 25/cent dollar. But there's a whole a lot money from there being taxed at 25% + FICA (7.65%) until the FICA maximum ~$127k. You act like I don't know these thresholds.

Clovis--- No, I don't Trump to grab my wife's (or my mother's or my sister's) pussy.
I do agree with you on pretty much all of this, especially due to the fact that every single other tax we pay is regressive. But I'd add on stuff like taxing all capital gains as income, I assume that would pay for any tax cuts that go to people between 15% and 1%.

WH told American Bar Association they won't ask ABA to review lower court judges before nomination.

Probably because they're gonna put as many crazy people as judges as they can.

Judge Napolitano.

I saw a one minute clip (for fox, that is more than enough) the first day Judge Nap was back and he stood by his claim.

He did indeed. He should have a sit down with Kellyanne and discuss all the fake treasonous acts and massacres.

There is a report out there that he is on the list for a SCOTUS nomination should another opening arise during the Trump term. How big of a cluster**** would that confirmation be?
04-01-2017 , 02:37 AM
Wasn't it Napolitano himself who said that? He may have been taking advantage of Trump saying Napolitano was a great legal mind, though Trump only said it because of the judge's ridiculous claim on FOX that Trump had indeed been wiretapped. The swirling winds of all this bull**** are getting hard to follow.

That very well may be the case. We should run some ads on fox and friends using the A Few Good Men narrative. Trump not wise enough to come up with single payer. Trump not smart enough to increase taxes on the filthy rich, increase the minimum wage, and truly help America. Something like that. TV appears to be the only way to get to him.
04-01-2017 , 02:47 AM
Or better yet:

Look Donald, we don't really think you're smart enough to collude with the Russians. That would take actual brain power. So, for the record, did you collude with the Russians?

You're god damn right I did...

John Oliver tried that already.

Though I guess I do need to apologize to awval, there is ONE person who got fooled by his "offer a rudimentary description of a thing when asked to provide his opinion on that thing" bit.

side story... 40-50 surgeries a day can't be good for quality. neither can 28 hr shifts by residents or all the other crap that tells me we NEED MORE DOCTORS...

main story... i would not be theoretically against sorting the patients by who voted to deport them and acting accordingly. if society continues to conspire to bail out voters' bad decisions voters will continue to make them.

deserve to get it good and hard, as they say.
