To be fair to people like awval (and you know it ****ing pains me to be fair to people like awval) Trump did totally lie to people and sell them a false bill of goods during the campaign. He said there would be healthcare for everybody, it would be cheaper, and he would bring back coal mining and the entire manufacturing sector. Maybe it would help people admit they made a mistake if we're willing to say, yeah, Trump DID pull a Bait and Switch on people. They didn't think they were getting Heritage Foundation as a President.

It would be easier to give them some credit if literally every newspaper in the country didn't warn them that he was a habitual liar who always said one thing and did another.
