How on Earth could there possibly be enough people in that stretch of wasteland to get their own Congressman? Has anyone checked that math on that?

Pathological is believing in and thinking libertarianism is a real thing while pretending to be a liberal.

I thought this might hurt him but that is a very solid R district on both the Presidential and Congressional level.

This area literally smells like cow ****. And I don't mean a vague whiff. I mean an overpowering stench that slams you when you drive into town.

The rule should be you can kill a sleeping grizzly but only if you use a spear.

Would I have to live there???

The map of where Republican congressmen in CA come from is amusing - there are very few places in red there that you'd actually want to live. A couple districts in Orange County and the one in northern San Diego county (which is still gray in that map, that Issa barely held on to this year) are the only exceptions, unless living in the mountains appeals to you (which it may, Lake Tahoe is great).

Watching the senate intel chair and vice chair giving their press conference on Russia makes me laugh at those here who have rallied against the importance of Russia.

The Republican Chair of the Senate Intel committee said flat out Russia is interfering with France's election.

On the topic of Congressional districts, you guys are never going to guess who will be president during the next Census! Anybody want to take bets on how many coastal Californians are going to mysteriously disappear in 2020?

As a liberal, will it be my duty to summarily slam the door in the faces of these people like it's 2010?

Depends on which state you live in?

Pretty sure that Pence's (or Cruz's or Nugent's) path to 270 in 2024 will be comprised of Texas, Alabama and at least one Dakota and that is it.

They were super tight lipped and more professional than that joke of a Nunes-run house committee. The vice chair confirmed Russian bots and how they affected the public, which I thought was slightly interesting. Hopefully tomorrow's hearing will be more enlightening overall.

I guess all of the 13% of Repubes who think Russia hacked the election are members of congress so that's somewhat encouraging?

"But honestly, if you're trying to say that Russia is a military danger to European countries, I think you're mistaken in your analysis."

"Russia doesn't deserve to be treated with prejudice."

"It hasn't led any campaigns against European countries, or against the US."

"Putin's government must be really popular with Russians, because he's constantly being re elected"

lol @ this idiot, they might as well have interviewed Steve Bannon

Lol Putun's sucker move for potential western leaders seems to be "We don't like terrorism either!"

Will ignore the fact she just chit-chatted with him for 90 minutes.

Another Putin flunky it's so ridiculous.

Offer not applicable in Ukraine or Georgia. Terms and Conditions apply. The Russian governemnt reserves the right to amend any of the terms and conditions without prior notice. In the event of disputes, decision made by Putin is final.

Like the way she pronounces herself the Anti Merkel.

Beginning to wonder if this is all part of a long con by Germany to start a war in which they get to be the good guys.
03-29-2017 , 03:55 PM
Don't mention the war!
