The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

Well, I can't say I'm proud to be British (Brexit and all) but I feel less disgusted about it than I did a few months ago and I'd feel worse being a Yank.

Seriously, I feel massive sympathy for the decent people in the US having to put up with this.

If true, at least that's something. I can't imagine the courts would have allowed that to stand very long had they tried to enforce it. But who the **** knows anymore?

It's done on a case by case basis. It's completely arbitrary and against the rule of law.

Honestly, I can't imagine how this will end.
why would his supporters start to question him? he is doing what he said would do.

This is the interview when he is asked about God and ends up talking about his deals?
01-28-2017 , 06:54 PM

This is certainly true. It doesn't have anything to do with actual anti terrorism practices

I skipped over awval's wordbomb first time through but spotted this when it was quoted:

Divestment

Trump has divested his individually owned stocks.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/busin...06c_story.html

...
Literally Google "Name" divestment and "Name" financial disclosures. It's all there. In the Cyber. I'm sorry you live in your bubble and don't have access to all these websites in the Cyber.
TRUMP HAS NOT DIVESTED HIS OWN ****ING BUSINESS. The nerve of this weepy Trump voter to talk down to others while failing on the single most important aspect of divestment, Jesus H. Christ.

While you're googling "Name" divestment maybe you would have seen articles with titles like TRUMP SAYS WON'T DIVEST FROM HIS BUSINESS WHILE PRESIDENT for ****'s sake

Pretty sure I'm being trolled, but most of his supporters don't actually know a whole lot about him beyond a few soundbites. If they find out more, and it's bad, then they can question it. If they realised that they were wrong, then they can question it. Many of them start talking about Hillary when challenged about Trump, and that says it all.

I don't think he's trolling you, just stating a fact...Trump is bad...his supporters are worse. They'd love him to go full on fascist.

If this is the case, then Trump can't possibly nominate Pryor, given that they're 100% lock to filibuster him. He likely wouldn't get confirmed, anyway; not that hard to find 3 R's to go against such an extremist. Collins, R, Maine, surely would.

I think he is just right. Most of us thought he was just saying that to his idiot base and he couldn't/wouldn't actually go through with something so utterly and comprehensively stupid. Here we are tho

Silver lining: it's pretty cool having the mantle passed to us, I hope we're ready for primetime.

I hope we can vet innocent Americans fleeing Trumpism, from Trump voters trying to sneak away from their mess.

This. If the reps burn the filibuster and then crash and burn in 2020 then their policies are royally ****ed

Canada might not be far enough away.

On February 14th [2008], Canada and the US signed an agreement which allows for the deployment of US troops inside Canada.

Territorial control over Canada is part of Washington’s geopolitical and military agenda as formulated in April 2002 by Donald Rumsfeld. “Binational integration” of military command structures was also contemplated alongside a major revamping in the areas of immigration, law enforcement and intelligence.

The Toronto Star accepted to publish an abridged version of my November 2004 text as an oped. The article explained that Ottawa had been:

“quietly negotiating [since April 2002] a far-reaching military cooperation agreement, which allows the US Military to cross the border and deploy troops anywhere in Canada, in our provinces, as well station American warships in Canadian territorial waters. This redesign of Canada’s defense system is being discussed behind closed doors, not in Canada, but at the Peterson Air Force base in Colorado, at the headquarters of US Northern Command (NORTHCOM).”
All your base are belong to Trump.

Zero value in debating awval unless the topic is the appropriate size for eyeholes in bedsheets.

"The hurt is what they want"

Wall: hurt mexicans/latinx
Chicago: hurt blacks
Immigration ban: hurt Muslims

I don't think globalresearch.ca has much credibility. The guy is a conspiracy theorist. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michel_Chossudovsky

Probably not. I don't remember what I googled to get there, but Canada still isn't far enough and next door to a fascist country could be worse than inside it.

As for pride or not, well, I'm part of the resistance, the true American patriots!

Just a huge, dishonest coward and phony, much like Inso0 (but likely smarter). Pretends to act like a decent human being but isn't. Otherwise he'd actually care when things are gong badly but instead it's "Huh? In off to Barbados, my house probably won't be rubble when I come back, how bad could it be?" He was all ready to go after Trump if he didn't divest before taking office but that came and went without a peep; now everything is fine because it's not literally a Nazi takeover (which would also be fine btw).. I look forward to him claiming he voted for Clinton in 4-8 years.

Awval is honing his skills so he can be the next propaganda minister after Bannon somehow is purged.

The resistance seems strong. I have been impressed.
