I guess what I'm saying is that paid family leave should be plentiful, and accessible for both parents as they see fit. Perhaps more leave can be requested as needed.

I don't think most employers will continue to see women as less of an employee when they get 14 months and their spouses 12. And I don't think most mothers will care if they get the same 12 months as their partners. Either way it's not a hill die on. Guaranteed child care until pre-K is a fantastic idea.

The bulk of republicans in congress have only been obstructionists their entire careers. So this is all they know. The freedom caucus doesn't have the numbers but they have the ideology and many have strong constinuency support. They just have no clue how to work in a government that actuslly accomplishes anything.

So if the Freedom Caucus guys like Rand Paul who have basically said that the world is 100% going to end anyways, the dollar is definitely going to hit hyperinflation soon as Ron Paul has predicted since the summer of 1948.. if all these guys who are true believers and want to see the whole thing torn down... if they refuse to go along with any of it... as they have always done... it means that lol, Trump must have Democrat votes to get anything done?
