I've got a question. More a thinker than an accusation. It's true that this tape should have sunk Trump but it didnt. In fact, you were a supporter til last week, so why did the tape not have that effect on you, or on your girlfriend. What did you use to justify it?

Calm down. I think Trump's plan is to give illegal immigrants heart attacks. Or give liberals heart attacks. So they would maybe die. And all that is left is just the conservatives and the Nazis.

Doable if they speak fluent or at least advanced level English.

I wasn't with my gf anymore at the time the tape came out. She's an ex-gf.

How I justified it is that he was talking about grabbing women by the pussy with consent, as "they let you do it". And I know he uses a lot of hyperbole. So basically what I thought is he was talking **** off the record. It was locker-room talk. It was just words.

I'm totally fine with women getting more parental/maternity leave. They have babies and make milk.

I don't believe that. I believe they don't wanna say it straight how things are (cos that would just cause more panic), so they're just dropping these hints to their viewers, and a lot of them are Trump supporters. I think they're handling this situation almost perfectly.

Yeh I saw that today too. That side of Trump's team are so much scarier than the corrupt Russia side.

See, this is why Trump voters piss me off.

First, it was not locker room talk. He was at work and he was talking about this to a co-worker about a 3rd co-worker.

Second, he was bragging about sexual assault. Again, HE WAS BRAGGING ABOUT SEXUAL ASSAULT.

Third, as a man, it ****ing pisses me off to no end that women I know have to wonder "Do all guys think like this?" when it comes to "locker room talk."

But hey, we can't be mean to the Trump voters right? GMAFB.

I've mentioned it before, but idk how any parent with a daughter voted for this piece of trash. Should have your ****ing kid(s) taken away for supporting that kind of ****.

Perhaps, but the SJW position du jour, is that giving women more is actually sexist against women, because when the women have the kids, they're the ones who get the leave, thus they're the parent that's expected to take it. This means that they miss work and their careers advance more slowly because of it. Or something like that. You would probably get a better explanation from a true believer.

I'm in favor of equal leave, but not for that reason.

If the above is one's actual goal, you can't just have equal leave, you have to actually somehow force/induce it to be taken equally. Apparently, some countries do this (I think).

People itt give Bannon way too much credit as some kind of political mastermind. There is exactly zero evidence of this.

This is what most people would call common sense. Shame the far-left thinks they need to fix things that work just fine.

Asymmetric leave also creates an inherent disincentive to hire women in the first place.

new theory that could change everything: trump doesn't have a valid birth certificate because he was never born, he was grown in a lab using preserved human tissue from a bunker in berlin in 1944. WHY HAVEN'T WE SEEN HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE??
03-24-2017 , 08:17 PM
Fwiw, I'm not old fashioned like women take care of babies and men don't. I worked from home and like 1/2 time for like 5 years after our second kid was born and our first was 2 1/2. I did lots of child care.

You can't legislate biological equivalence, so unless you force men to take family leave that won't change anything. You legislate against discrimination and imho pay for leave should be public and not from the employer which would greatly reduce that disincentive.

dems talking like today's a win, they're still gonna lose like every other time.

Trump and HHS are still gonna do exec **** to health care to make it a disaster as best they can, mcconnell won't release funds for part of it, so cost will go up, people will blame obamacare b/c it'll end up just like trump said it'd be even if tho it's quite a bit his fault but people won't know that. Next election is still over a year and a half from now, people aren't gonna remember this by then especially after we get into a stupid war with someone or nukes start flying.

Still unlikely we have a smoking gun to remove trump though. Dems have gone way too far allin on that and the house hearings were a total **** show on both sides.

If you want to argue that women, biologically,
hold bottles or change diapers better than men, I am going to need some work shown.

Relegating women to the roles of uncompensated care works for you just fine.
