So now that Trump and the Republicans are governing the country and keeping Obamacare, do they sabotage it (or let it die) to win political points or try to make it work as best as they can and open themselves up to criticism for supporting Obamacare?
Edit: I'm watching the Paul Ryan conference and he's basically saying that Obamacare is dying and doesn't seem interested in doing anything to fix or improve it, other than the replacement bill that failed today.
Last I looked, something like 75 percent of illegal immigrants paid the withholding on their pay checks via bogus SSNs.
I suppose that could work, for a while at least. IRS should have access to SSA's database and you'd think with today's newfangled technology they could spoke a fake social right away.
How does that work? I'm genuinely curious. When I transmit payroll info to IRS in includes employee info as well afaik. Couldn't they see right away that I'm employing undocumented folks and withholding FICA and federal and medicare taxes?
Of course they know. They don't care. Immigration isn't their responsibility. They collect employment taxes.

Don't see why they would be shy about taking credit. It took Obama/Pelosi over a year to get the ACA through Congress. Trump and Ryan did it in just 3 months. That's called winning in my book.
Ryan is such a fountainhead. Just a complete dick doing everything he can to hand wave away that the fact that many republicans are getting erectyle dysfunction at even the sniff of their town halls, and can't ram down this bill before recess.
I actually believe this, I don't know if I really sat down and gave it serious thought how it could benefit insurers more. And every subsequent change was even better for them.
