So now that Trump and the Republicans are governing the country and keeping Obamacare, do they sabotage it (or let it die) to win political points or try to make it work as best as they can and open themselves up to criticism for supporting Obamacare?

Edit: I'm watching the Paul Ryan conference and he's basically saying that Obamacare is dying and doesn't seem interested in doing anything to fix or improve it, other than the replacement bill that failed today.

I suppose that could work, for a while at least. IRS should have access to SSA's database and you'd think with today's newfangled technology they could spoke a fake social right away.

Nobody knew doing big things was hard.

Ryan is getting salty.
03-24-2017 , 04:19 PM
Lol Ryan just said by passing this bill they would probably be doing the architects of Obamacare a favor.

Of course they know. They don't care. Immigration isn't their responsibility. They collect employment taxes.

Ryan: "This is how governing works."

lol Ryan saying how hard it is to create legislation with a majority. He was seriously implying it was more difficult.

Lol Ryan is such a clown

"I guess we're doing Democrats a favor"

More like 26 million Americans you dolt

Why would any rational human being trust any Republican plan over Obamacare at this point

Don't see why they would be shy about taking credit. It took Obama/Pelosi over a year to get the ACA through Congress. Trump and Ryan did it in just 3 months. That's called winning in my book.

GJGE Ryan

Now go fix Obamacare by passing the goddamn public option like we told you 8 years ago

The tone that Ryan is using when speaking about members of his own conference is so condescending. LUL

Ryan is such a fountainhead. Just a complete dick doing everything he can to hand wave away that the fact that many republicans are getting erectyle dysfunction at even the sniff of their town halls, and can't ram down this bill before recess.

I don't get why they didn't just keep Obamacare but shift all the taxes on billionaires to the deficit.

The GOP controls Congress/White House & Nancy Pelosi is having a victory speech 2 months into their term. Can't make this **** up. #AHCA

I actually believe this, I don't know if I really sat down and gave it serious thought how it could benefit insurers more. And every subsequent change was even better for them.
