Where's our boy awval? Shouldn't he be taking a victory lap behind the big man over these dastardly immigrants? Maybe remind us how he's really only bothered by illegal immigration, and thinks legal immigrants are the salt of the earth?

He must be loving all this schadenfreude. Children are being thrown back into war zones! Isn't it just so hilarious!

GK is well worth following - can you tell me how to imbed Tweets? Thanks!

Just Quote the post with the Tweet in it to see how it's done - it's simple.

I haven't read this all yet but are the Republicans including Sessions trying to limit Trump's power?

Can some expert explain the Dow Jones level to me? I do have some qualifications in investment but I can't get my head around it.

If you have very low unemployment and low immigration, then you can't get growth from more workers to support your base. Improved efficiency seems dubious (even without the wall), and where do new ideas come from if there is a tech brain drain from the US? I guess Trump may say he's helping small businesses get off the ground, but I'm struggling to make sense of it.

Rich investors expect an end to capital gains taxes. The end.

Investors think Trumps disastrous economic policies are going to provide short term growth.

I watched a Schroders webinar on the global outlook last week, and they were pretty sceptical about the US prospect of growth.

One issue for investors, in the UK anyway but I assume also in the US, is that bond yields are so low that switching to bonds just feels awkward

I guess the money from pension funds etc has to go somewhere.

Isnt the ban for muslims who are already US residents absolutely disgusting?

It is absolutely disgusting. It's being instituted by a minority government under the pretense of security--there's not much we can do but protest.

Most people don't care about this, but part of our job is to educate people as to exactly why this is a bad idea.

Hmmmm and extra 9 trillion dollars of printed money chasing around a relatively finite amount of equities puts an upward force on prices.... El Fin.

Yes, it's disgusting. I've already reached out to the closest mosque in support and will try to do more.

Towers with guards are embedded in the wall, just like archers in the great wall. The wall stopping people depends on shooting them, but that's fine with Trumpkins.

Moving towards having relations with neighbors like the ones Israel has seems like a fantastic idea.
